I have been to this cafe before. Overall a pretty good spot for breakfast. I have an impression that they do pancakes better than other breakfast items. Their dollar pancakes are light and delicious. I also tried the hash brown omelette. Umm I think it was okayish. Not super impressed. Maybe I was expecting something else. This is one of the few places where I like hot chocolate.Very fast service and the places being always crowded explains its popularity.

I love supporting local businesses, but I'm sad everything is so expensive. I know they have to raise prices to survive the current inflation, especially as a small business in Bellevue. We paid $51 for 2 eggs Benedict, 2 coffees, and a small stack of 2 pancakes. The building is small and parking is limited, but the food is delicious and customers service is great. Highlight is the hot pancake syrup, yes it comes HOT! The eggs Benedict's were perfect in every way. Amazing flavor. The hash browns were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The coffee is plain drip coffee, but delicious as well with some cream and sugar. This was the perfect brunch. I can't afford it often due to steep prices, but I understand 100% why they need to charge more. Everything is so expensive these days, especially the cost of food in general.Thank you for a delicious brunch on this rainy Tuesday afternoon!

A small but good restaurant. Very good service from the start and all the way to the end even though they were busy. The food was great but the portions are smaller than average in my opinion but enough for me since I don't typically eat that much. I've been here a few times already and will come back again for the food and great service.

Family owned business with consistently good food and service. You will love itThey have so many different types of pancakes that are really good, including gluten-free. They have what seems to be a basic breakfast menu but they make it all so flavorful somehow! Anything you order will be good!I love the scrambleThe staff is always consistent and really good. Super friendly and wanting to make sure you have a good experience. Because of the above, you will most likely have a wait so just be prepared for that. After we went the first time, we were addicted (and loved supporting this small family business), and found ourselves there every weekend for many many months. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!

Your typical hole in the wall local American breakfast joint. Something I crave every now and then. This is my first time coming to this establishment. The breakfast I ordered was good but filling. My servicer was a very nice guy who spoke a limited amount of English but took great care of me.I ordered the blueberry pancakes and they were good, not great. The texture was fluffy and a bit dry to taste. However, it was a pleasure to taste the blueberries inside the pancake and the blueberry spread that came with them. Of course I had to ask for some syrup which helped moisturize up the pancakes. The bacon and eggs were fine. The egg was perfect being over easily and the bacon was also good. The bacon was a bit on the salty side but the texture was slightly crispy and meaty which I enjoyed very much.Overall a good experience at this breakfast place. The server also recommended that I should try their Swedish Pancakes, which I plan to do next time around.Enjoy!

I am a sucker for an old school diner/breakfast joint. The kind of place that still has silly named specialties such as the "Ladies Plate" (1/2 a serving of hash browns? This lady wants the whole thing!) or the "Weight Lifter's Special" which includes a beef patty, salad and fruit cup. I did not have either of those items, but I did have the Hash brown Omelette, which is just what it sounds like, and also includes cheddar cheese. It works, so much so that I cleaned my plate, which I almost never do with a large breakfast platter. I had mine with the fresh fruit cup. Spouse had the potato pancakes, which aren't like the kind we are used to, but he really liked them (more pancake-ish). The coffee was classic diner, which is to say it was awful. But that's just part of the experience. The young waitstaff was hustling, doing it and doing it well. Classic diner decor (ie. Booths, tables and chairs, a funky old building with no recent renovations in sight) are what I want and what you get a Chace's). The last I read this place has been in the Chace family since opening in 1958 and they have kept everything about it fairly original. Which is how we like it!

The food was amazing and the wait wasn't too long on a Saturday around brunch time. The food came quickly as well. The place itself also is quite cute. Unfortunately parking really was quite a hassle. There's some street parking if you go up the hill across the street to the neighborhood, but the ones behind all have no parking signs and it was hard to leave the lot after checking it was full too...

Went here with friends for a casual brunch a bit ago and had an okay experience. The ambiance is very outdated and diner-like, which actually is part of its charm and rare to find now in Bellevue. The service was a little slow and awkward, not great, but not terrible. The food was decent. I had the blueberry pancake and it was fine, maybe a little dry. The hash browns were decent, but the sausage was super juicy and yummy! My friends thought their banana pancakes and strawberry pancake/crepe were decent. The crepe serving was a little small.I much prefer Waffle House than this breakfast to be honest.Overall: okay breakfast place in Bellevue which is unique for its old diner vibe but you could definitely get better brunch elsewhere.

Absolutely love it here! Our sever Evan was so nice and attentive. The gluten free options are awesome! I love the gluten free pancakes. The vibe is small town breakfast joint and you can tell that it is a nice family owned place! It feels like home and you can go wrong! Also cheap for Seattle area!

Delicious French Toast (although not super filling), but avoid the nasty corned beef hash as it's a mushy inedible patty. They ask if you want coffee when seated which is $3.50. There is overflow parking. They scribble the total so double-check its accuracy.
