It's a place in a big shopping area, which has a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. So parking is not a problem. Decor is very low key and cleanliness needs lot of work. Well crowded when we went. They have kiosks and QR code for ordering food.We had ordered Raj Kachori, Bhel puri, for appetizers. Both were good and a lot of quantity.More on sweeter notes, though. The main course we had ordered Anapurna thali came with salad, dal, aloo mattar, malai paneer sides with plain rice, roti, yogurt, and dessert. Rice was a little dry, but the rest were ok.Paneer parantha was huge it came with onion, pickle, and yogurt. We had to use more picle to compensate as it has lirrle less seasoning. Pickle given was way less, which is understandable. When asked for more, they gave one, and when asked for more, they want to charge me a dollar!. This pickle they were serving were store bought, and they cost a few bucks for a huge pack. They are so generous with their portions, but they want to hold out on condiments, so shameful.Chole batura, there were 2 huge baturas. The biggest i have seen in any restaurant is well made and taste good. But the chole was not proportionate with the batura. In short, cheap good food, cleanliness needs a lot of effort, and being unpolite to give condiments needed is a big .

This counter-service restaurant impresses with its array of vegetarian Indian delights. The quick service ensures a swift and hassle-free dining experience, ideal for those on the go. The ambiance is pretty informal and relaxed. Although, I appreciate the affordability as it does not compromise on authentic flavors.A few of my recommendations from this place are:1. Samosa Chaat: The combination offers a delightful mix of crispy samosa and flavorful chickpeas, making it a tasty and satisfying choice for fans of this classic Indian street food.2. Amritsari Kulcha: The golden-brown, perfectly cooked bread encapsulates a flavorful stuffing and is served with chole and a side of yogurt.3. Vada Pav: The spiced potato filling encased in a soft pav, accompanied by flavorful chutneys, creates a delightful combination. This snack is a must-try here.4. Mango Shake: A rich and creamy drink, highly recommended for mango enthusiasts seeking a satisfying and indulgent beverage. What I wouldn't recommend from here are: Gobi Manchurian, Schezwan Fried Rice, and Hakka Noodles. I've tried these items in my previous visits, and they lacked flavor, proving to be rather disappointing.

I must say the food has gotten even better! We came here after a trip to India and were super happy it felt like we were having chaat in India. We've had the kulchas, paranthas, and this time had the dahi puri (SPDP, my husband taught me) and the Ragda Patties. Both were fresh and flavorful, fulfilling our cravings. There was a little wait but over all the service was good. Overall, I'd come back for more. Happy eating!

Quick and inexpensive place to go to if you are craving for some Indian food. The ambiance is like a casual fast food joint. The staff is nice and responsive. The place can get crowded on Friday evening afterwards and over the weekends. The reason I took off two stars is because while some items here taste great, the rest some aren't that great. My ratings for the dishes I have tried so far. Samosa - 10/10Chaat - 4/10Anapurna thali - 5/10Parathas - 8/10Aloo poori - 7/10Gobi machurian - 6/10There is a lot of free parking available in the complex. Will update my review after I try out more dishes.

Delicious authentic and vegetarian Indian served FAST!Prices were decent and everything tasted amazing. Spice levels are good too for those like me who can't really handle all that much spice haha.It was a noisier eatery but that's either a pro or con and to each either own. I loved that it felt so alive, with grandparents, children, and friends all gathered around to share yummy meals.Pros:* decent price* delicious food* food came out super fast! Barely any wait at all, speedy service.* all options are vegetarian* decent spice levelsCons:* louder restaurant (but that adds to the ambiance and energy!)

One liner: expect $10-15 per person for a quick snack. Decent at everything. The food at Chaat house is fine. I say fine because it's not that great by Indian street food standards. Having said that, if you are craving Chaat food, you have few options on the Eastside. On three different occasions, I had to wait more than 15 mins for my order. I don't think they go in a first in first out order. Mostly self service and folks on the other side of the counter are not very welcoming at times. The restaurant is mostly clean except when it gets crowded and I find the washrooms aren't as hygienic. Overall ambience is not something to yearn for. I almost prefer take-out from this restaurant. Depending on what I am ordering.

I used to love coming to this place for their hakka noodles but looks like either their chef changed or they had a bad day. The noodles were stale (they weren't cooked fresh), had lots of soy sauce and white pepper. Sadly I had to throw it in the garbage. The price has increased. It used to be $10 and now it's for $15. Also the quantity is less than before.I understand it's tough for businesses so the price rise is justified but please take care of quality. That shouldn't suffer.

I've ordered both takeout and dine in from Chaat House. Things that I have tried:* Shezuan Noodles. This is off their Indochinese menu. I prefer these to Hakka as they have more flavour. The portion was large and it lasted 1.5 meals for me.* Annapurna Thali. It was OK. I usually like thali because I can get a variety of things in smaller quantity for the price of one dish. I would avoid this one though as it was not too impressive.* Mango Lassi. This was bottled and served to me right away after ordering so I did not have to wait. But, it was sour. Please avoid this. If you must have some Mango Lassi - go to Mayuri Sweets/Mayuri Bakery nearby as their mango lassi is definitely superior.* Samosa Chaat. It was decent. The chaat portion was awesome as usual. The samosa itself was decent but it felt smaller compared to Aloo Tikki option.* Aloo Tikki Chaat. Might be the superior option to Samosa Chaat? Might need to try again.* Chole Bhature. The quantity of chole compared to the bhature was too less. Chole finished right away with bhature left over.It has a sister store with similiar branding that focuses on Dosa called Dosa House nearby. There's not really any other restaurants like this with the awesome variety of menu. You're mainly going for the food and not the service since it's more cafeteria style. So takeout is a good option too.

Ambience (2/5) - Casual Fast Food Concept. The table might be dirty as it's self service. Food - Chili Garlic Noodles (5/5) *New on menu*- I highly recommend chowmein. It's exactly like Indian street food with powerful spice and flavor. DEFINITELY TRY IT!! Dahi Puri (4/5) - liked the green and imli chutney Amritsari Kulcha (3.5/5) - Kulcha was good. However, the chole was a bit disappointing. Gobi Paratha (2/5) - too oily, the stuffing was less. Will definitely go back for chowmein!

We went in here not expecting much. But this place served some really nice Indian street food.We ordered chole bhature, sev puri, pav bhaji, and a thali. And everything tasted great. The sev puri and pav bhaji were the best. The service was quick and the place looked like a legit Indian restaurant inside (iykyk). We had a lovely meal full of flavor at Chaat House.
