Excellent customer service and the food was good. However, I was a tad disappointed in the alcohol content of my cocktails, especially when paying $13 per drink. I'd return for the food and live entertainment, but I wouldn't for the booze (or lack thereof).Cheers!RS

What a more pleasant experience to get off Broadway (on a Saturday night) and sit at a table with friends that were visiting. We enjoyed the live music, margs, some fun table games and were well attended to by our server throughout the entire time we were there. We tried several different margs & they were all VERY good!!! I failed to get pics bc I was visiting with friends that I hadn't seen in years!

This is such a fun bar in Nashville! We got there early afternoon on a Monday and had so much fun. Passing by outside we could hear a guy playing guitar and he sounded really good. We decided to stop in for a few drinks and it was worth it. The singer was Pierson Swanson who was super friendly and sounded great! The bartender was cool and the other patrons were all having a good time. Just off Broadway, but definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely LOVED the live music they had here (especially the second musician that came on!)- but the food was not the best. We walked in on a Monday and there were a couple of people at the bar, with maybe 3 other tables sat around the restaurant. The service was awesome, he took care of us even after we paid out. The taco salad that I ordered was pretty nasty. The meat was super greasy, the beans were cold and seemed like someone dumped a can of beans on my salad. The guacamole at Taco Bell tasted better than their's-and their ranch tasted like it was expired. They seemed to have a lot of cool, rare drinks (one had a rubber ducky and one even had a scorpion!). I think the only reason I'd come back would be for the live music.

This place, on 2nd Avenue was nice, quiet, and with great music. If Broadway is too loud or too busy for you, this is a place you will like. I did not try the food, but it looked good, and everyone there seemed to have been having a good time.

Popped by on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. There was a gentleman singing with his guitar and was taking requests. I ordered the spicy chicken taco and the strawberry sunset drink. Both were delicious.This is off of Broadway, so the sidewalks are not overcrowded and the music is not blaring.

Nice getaway right off Broadway for actual good food and drinks. Good food is Hard to find near the Broadway area. Scorpion Shot for the win! You get to keep the shot glass too so there's your Nashville Souvenir! The music was great as well. Aaron Nichols performed and he sounded just like Stapleton. Great spot to get your day going!

Been coming g to Nashville for 20 yrs. Broadway is overly priced and over played. Jacks is one of the last bars where they serve food and still play country music. We spent several days here drinking and listening to music. Drinks were reasonably priced and so was the food. Not a great deal but not overly priced. The neg is the chorizo y papas Taquitos. They were mushy and burnt. Ate what I could but afraid of breaking a tooth. This was on Sun afternoon. And the bartender female didn't seem like she was in a good mood. She said it was her Friday before a day off so she was looking forward to the end of the day. She was negative or anything I just didn't want to add to her long work week by returning food. On Monday a new female bartender and she was really cool. Friendly and the food was much better. If she had been working the day prior I would've felt more comfortable returning the Taquitos. But this place is still a great place to hang.

Five star service at the bar. Nashville can be big and cold. Finding a place to make you feel like you're at home was completely unexpected. Thank you Shelby Rae and Cerveza Jacks.Great location near the river off Broadway, live music in the AM, a great bartender who gives excellent suggestions, a tight menu...what else could you need?I've been to about a dozen bars/restaurants on and near Broadway (Ole Red, Jimmy's, RTB, etc ) and this is the one that I am very likely to visit every time I'm back in Nashville... It's a sure thing if Shelby Rae is tending bar.Thank you for the great food and drinks.

Amazing. Cici took amazing care of us and made the best margaritas ever. As out of towners she took the time to give us recommendations of places to go. The talent, Josh Hughett and fiddler were awesome!
