I want to give 100 !Friends fans ?! this IS the place to relive it. You can buy Phoebe's grandma's cookies, Rachael's salad, Gunther espresso, Ross's sandwich with the moist maker.... everything.... and the orange is prominent all over the store- couch Ofcourse, then the cups and plates.... its all there, so well done that I realized I missed Chandler :(.The girl who helped us out was as excited as me to meet someone who knew Friends series. It was an accidental find and we had already had dinner or would have got more than Phoebe's cookie and a chocolate croissant- both were soo good and steeped in nostalgia, which nade them even softer and tastier. Ambiance is great. Prices are reasonable. Cafe has free wife and a huge student crowd was there busy on their laptops sipping coffee and crunching away some numbers or details.... soo not how the 'Friends' intended..... Lol..Hopefully I can go back there with my own laptop and sip coffee while I wait for my friends to turn up....

I live in Back Bay and have been coming to Central Perk since they opened. If possible, it just keeps getting better! Not sure when they added the avocado toasts to their menu but I had both for the first time within the past week or so. I am beyond happy for this perfect breakfast or quick snack option. Note that I'm not a huge siracha fan so I'd suggest asking that they cut down on that if you don't care for it. The version pictured is the version with radishes and red onions. I think it's perfect with no changes!

I like this place. Good places to sit, a surprising amount of natural light in some parts (considering that it's a "garden level" space a.k.a below ground level"), nice people in spite of being pretty busy. My iced Earl Grey was perfectly brewed (no bitterness), just a slight appropriate astringency), and the mezze plate was gorgeous and only $10! It had the usual suspects (hummus, tiny carrots of many colors, cucumbers, olives, tzatziki, bread) plus a few nice surprises -- radishes, a couple cauliflower florets, nuts, and a small medley of dried fruit. Open later (9 pm weekdays, 10 pm weekends) than most of the others around Newbury Street. The only downside was having to hear the middle aged corporate boys showing off their dealings and wheeling to each other like sharing Hot Wheels. It's just an older more staid version of tech bro talk, hard to tune out because there are too many verbal exclamation points. Or a newer more male version of Chinese moms bragging to each other about their kids' SAT scores. Ultimately meaningless except as a form of social bonding. In any case. A great place to stop for an afternoon break or a check-in with a friend over coffee.

I watched the TV show Friends a lot when I was younger and of course I came here! When I first entered I looked for the spot where Phoebe did her infamous song "smelly cat" . The service was welcoming when you enter with the cashier greeting us. They had a wide selection of food and drinks. The place was pretty busy, but there were people doing work on their laptops. It was definitely a top place for me to visit in Boston and grab coffee.

OH. MY. GAWWWD. Could this BE any more cute? The menu - hilarious. The decor - spot on. The food - delicious. Ironically the nitro coffee was the low point of the experience, but it was nice to sit and enjoy the decor and the nestlay tulhausa cookie and moist maker. All of the decorations are speckled with references, from the chick and the duck on the hallway door to the purple doors leading to the bathroom. Everything is very well thought out by someone who must've been a big fan. They sell a super cute assortment of Central Perk branded paraphernalia that I'll most definitely have to pick up. Friends fans one and all, come check out this spot!

This place was super cute friends inspired cafe but it left us disappointed. Food was mediocre and left us unsatisfied. The only thing that our group enjoyed was the ham and cheese croissant and the tomato soup. Grilled cheese was not cooked through and the sandwiches could cut your mouth open, the bread was so hard!! It's a cute experience but I wouldn't expect anything great to come out of it. Service is pay upfront and get your food/drink when it's ready. Was average paced.

If you are a friends lover you will like this coffee shop alot. It has plenty of seating and the vibe is obviously from the show friends. I did not have anything to eat here but I did have a cappuccino which was ok but think it gave me a little stomach ache. But besides that this place has a cozy vibe to it. Great place to meet friends for coffee or do work from. There is outdoor seating here as well. They also have an area towards the back where they sell alot of different merch. Sweatshirts, shirts, mugs, coffee. And if you see in my pictures the coffee is named after funny sayings that was in the show.

Central perk was great! I was surprised to see how many fun drinks they had as "daily specials". I got a blueberry spritz from the daily special menu (non-alcoholic). It was quite tasty! The interior is of course the cute Friends theme and that part was lovely. There was plenty of seating when I went on a Sunday afternoon. I saw they had some cool cocktail options so I'd be interested in going back and trying out those too!

I don't even watch the show friends and I was just in love with the vibes in this coffee shop. I got a matcha Latte with strawberry that tasted very fresh. The workers at the register were also super friendly persuading me to love to Boston, definitely was considering it after walking into this coffee shop that's right in the Newbury street district. It was also very clean and walking distance to many shops and places to eat: give them a try if you are in the area

It's a cute cafe if you're a big fan of Friends. The coffees are all named after phrases & characters from the show so I went with Joey's signature How you Doin coffee. It wasn't bad for black coffee, but not incredibly good as there were no additional notes in there. It was about as standard as coffee could get with a cute name added to it. The interior is similar to what you see in the show so if you want, you can lounge on the same couch the friends did. But the place is always so busy it's hard to snag a good seat. If want to reminisce the show, it's a nice spot to add to your list but be prepared for some mid-priced gimmicky drinks.
