Cent'Anni Cafe at Fairmont Grand Del Mar

We came here after a full day at the spa downstairs. The spa wasn't able to break a cash bill for us to tip the valet so we decided to get a quick decaf at the hotel's coffee shop.It was packed earlier when we arrived in morning but completely empty by early evening. They have tables/seating outside the shop with lots of windows. Inside the shop felt muggy for some reason. I asked the young gentleman if there was anything cold that was decaf and he said no. He could make me a latte or something and pour it over ice. I didn't want to wait for that or spend extra for something I kinda didn't want. So I just asked for a small decaf coffee with a side of ice. He poured the decaf coffee over ice for me. The small iced coffee was $3.50.The milk/sugar station was well stocked with non-fat milk, half n half, nutmeg, cocoa, sugars. I think they only use disposal paper straws for all their cold drinks here at Fairmont. Coffee tasted fine but watered down from the hot coffee melting over ice. No biggie. My pedicure technician said they offer amazing salads here. Friend also says this is a great place to have coffee during the day and use their wifi. So maybe that's worth a try in the future if we return.

This place has this lavender mocha oat milk latte, which is amazing! Also the views from the tables overlooking the pools are the best. I come here all the time i live down the street and it makes me feel like I'm in a mini vaca

Little coffee shop for a quick stop of tea. Great. I would come back.F O O DPineapple & Lemon Gelato: perfect amount of sweet and sour. Very well made gelato. I think this is one of my favorite places for gelato.. it's so yummyy. Jasmine Green Tea: so aromatic with real leaves placed in a very good triangle filter (not the regular cheap crap filters). Everytime my mom comes, she always gets the same thing!S E R V I C ESophia (an African American lady) served us and was quick, didn't dilly dally. I would've appreciated a smile or a more friendlier approach. For the quality and how expensive this hotel is, I would expect a much higher level of service. I only took off one star because of how good the service is elsewhere in this hotel. We have also come here a multitude of times and we've near to always had such good service that she didn't ruin it too much. She did do the minimum though and served us what we wanted. O T H E RThe cleanliness is unreal here. The view is beautiful. The decor is stunning. The atmosphere is perfection with the perfect touch of relaxation. The Grand is my favorite place to stay.P R I C EWe paid about $10 for the two. I think it is very well worth it. I would still come back again.

Awesome little coffee shop/marketplace located adjacent to the main lobby of the Grand Del Mar. They seem to have everything here but the kitchen sink! For guests who forget a toothbrush, or need some reading supplies, or sunscreen for the kids they have it all! I stopped by a couple mornings during my stay here to grab a protein smoothie. You have the option of vanilla or chocolate protein. Very good and the price is very fair at $10 considering you are at a 5 star resort.

Whenever we're visiting The Grand Del Mar, we always stop by the Cent' Anni. They always have delicious croissants and muffins for breakfast and a small assortment of salads or sandwiches for lunch.They also had a wonderful selection of holiday coffee drinks on our last visit here. They had the cutest Christmas cookies too. There were so many delicious ones to choose from, we had a hard time deciding which ones to get. The beautiful Christmas decorations and other cute holiday items were a fun bonus as well! The gelato is a treat when we come here. My son likes trying a couple of the flavors before he orders. He also likes the chocolate chip cookies when he's here. The chocolate chip cookies are always so large and yummy here. The customer service is great at Cent' Anni. Like everything at The Grand Del Mar, the service is friendly and helpful. The employees always seem to go out of their way. It really makes it a fun stop when we're here.For when you want a quick snack while you're visiting The Grand, Cent' Anni is an excellent stop for a great breakfast and lunch items and tasty holiday desserts!

The staff here are always so friendly. They have wonderful sandwiches and delicious gelato. It's located at The Grand Hotel which is beautiful and elegant. A very lovely lunch experience.

Really cute coffee shop. I ordered a banana nut muffin and chai latte. The muffin was fresh and moist and my latte was delicious!

Cent' Anni is a convenient cafe /shop if you want a quick casual bite, dessert, or some emergency toiletries. We tried their Mediterranean wrap and kale salad. You have the option of taking your food to-go or eating at the tables in the hall facing the pool.

Great selection of coffee and light breakfast items. The service is very quick and the atmosphere is pleasant. Expect to eat your breakfast at marble tables next to giant windows facing the beautiful grounds. I recommend trying the salmon bagel (I tend to replace the bagel with sourdough), the juice of the day (yum and healthy), and the plain coffee. If you are looking for an indulgence that is relatively small, the chocolate covered oreos are gimmicky but yummy.

Delicious gelato! Staff was very friendly as well! Cute little shop with cafe like menu (salads, sandwiches, snacks) and gelato. They sell lots of fun, local food items too.
