Cedars Mediterranean Kitchen

We originally checked out this spot for a comedy show, but decided to come early for the food. We got falafel, chicken wings, Arab swag tacos, & watermelon sugar. The Falafel was nice and crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside, and I loved it with the dill sauce that came with it. The flavor in the Arab swag tacos & chicken wings was PHENOMENAL! I highly recommend this spot. Entrees are $14-16 at this time. Cash & card accepted. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The parking lot was large with plenty of spots, and free. If you get a chance to check out their comedy show, do yourself a favor and go. 50% of all proceeds benefit Palestine, and the comedians were hilarious! It was a great show for the $20 price tag and went about 2 hours. This is a place I will definitely be back to when I'm in the Hyde Park area.

This place is one of the many whose social media is doing its job in getting asses in the door. It wasn't on my radar & tbh it sort of misleading. It's more urban or modernized than your typical Mediterranean fare. I've never come across an alleged Mediterranean place with chicken wings & pitas being substituted for flour tortilla shells. Food was ok. Doubt I'd return

I love love love me some cedars! This hands down is the best Mediterranean food I've had. It's such a great go too and it's reasonably priced. Each and every staff member is very pleasant. Very helpful and greeting you with a smile. There are options to dine in or do carryout. I've done both and enjoy each one. I've tried a few thumbs on their menu but have ventured off too much because I'm stuck on one meal lol. It has me in a choke hold!! But when I go back I plan to try something different!

I went in there for the first time I've always walked by, but I thought I would finally give it a try and it was so good. I was actually very surprised on how amazing their wings are not only is the food good but the people that worked there are super nice And helpful patient and they even have really great deals throughout the week. I found a new spot. I am excited to keep going back.

Cedars may not boast fancy decor or expansive space, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in flavor. Despite its cozy interior accommodating around 15 people, the food speaks volumes. My wife and I sampled a variety of dishes, each one impressing with its deliciousness. If you find yourself in Hyde Park, I highly recommend making a trip to Cedars for a satisfying culinary experience that won't disappoint.

Consistently a great spot for Mediterranean food. I appreciate that the sides compliment the main dish and that they are an even amount. For instance, in the falafel bowl, the grilled veggies balance out the amount of rice given. They have some of the best falafel I have ever had, and the sauce that comes with it takes the dish to another level. The entree portions are generally large, but not enough so that it can't be finished in one sitting. I've also had their chicken shawarma wrap, shepherd's salad and the cookie (sign up for their text / loyalty updates for your first free one!), and nothing was disappointing. Ordering via call-in elicits the quickest service for me, and the restaurant is always clean (though I never see it busy, which leads me to believe most of their service is takeout).

Wings are . The service is out of this world. And the music sets a nice lunch time vibe.

This is the very first time I've been to this place and not disappointed at all! Me and my sister had been checking this place on social media for a while and decided to drive by from Evanston to give it a try and Lord it was delicious. Everything from the food, environment to the staff they were very friendly and very professional. Definitely recommend it! Hands down!

Decent if limited food menu of freshly made lunch options.Aint Naf Naf Grill though and at avg $15 for food alone, just okay.

Absolutely superb entrees. We love love love the grape leaves ... of course, among endless accompanying perfect sides. The food is freshly made -- it is just so very delicious. We love to dine here ... many times just on our way to shopping nearby. It is hard not to stop in -- you are guaranteed to have a delightful meal. The service is excellent -- very kind and attentive staff who really cares about their customers.
