Wonderful experience. Awesome wine tasting. Micah knows his wine. His passion for winemaking and knowledge on almost anything, even wine label design was apparent in the first 10 min of our conversation. Highly recommend Ava's Crush Cab Sauv. Highly recommend this hidden gem. You will not be disappointed!!!

Off the beaten path surprise. I joined winepassport.com and this was one of the wineries listed. Cute little building with a large garage door for amazing summer evenings on the patio with a little fire pit. We tasted both whites and reds. My favorite was the Syrah for reds and the Viognier for the white. We left with four bottles and will definitely return. Mike was so friendly and an extremely knowledgeable winemaker. He sat with us even after closing to chat about travels and his journey to these award wining wines he makes with his wife. Definitely search out this little gem!!

SO GOOD! not only is the wine amazing, but the owner was a DELIGHT. came here for a tasting, ended up staying a few hours, bought a few glasses of wine and ended up with a few bottles to take home. Thank you so much for a great experience we will never forget!

Cozy winery with great wines. The owners are super friendly and really know their stuff. They also have an outdoor seating area and roast marshmallows various times during summer and fall

Great wine and great people here. The winemaker really makes you feel at home inside the quaint tasting room and offers genuine conversation throughout your whole time at the facility.The location is great right in the heart of a lush forest area. It smells amazing and peaceful when you get out the car. The wine was awesome and the stories behind the names and growth locations makes for a great conversation. You can find the wine in a few local locations which makes it feel like the neighborhood winery. I will get some more again.

We decided to support a local small business with some friends. When we arrived we weren't sure what to expect since it's a very modest appearance from the outside not really resembling a winery we were used to seeing. We are gave each other the "what have we gotten ourselves into" look. We were greeted immediately upon entering and proceeded with a tasting. Tasting fee is waived with a bottle purchase. I tried the Mormor Riesling, VNA Viogner... and some reds to round out the tasting- Tried the Confluence Red Blend, Watershed Merlot, Cab Barrel Select and Syrah (shared some with the hubbie). The Riesling was my favorite of the whites and which we purchased some along with some dessert wine- LaRue since they don't have wine tastings or glasses of the dessert wine. My husband liked the Cab Barrel select so we also purchased that one. The prices for the bottles were reasonable especially considering it's a small winery and the costs sometimes get high for smaller inventory. The husband and wife were hospitable and we were welcome to sit outside by the roaring fire but chose to relax inside with our friends. A few extra spots inside to sit would be nice but it's a cozy small area. There is a public washroom inside. Overall it was a nice visit and we would return. We enjoyed the time with our friends.

We love this place so much! They have some incredible wines that are so amazing. We love supporting a small local business that gives back to it's community. The owners are inviting and the location has a relaxed comfortable vibe. And have I mentioned how good the wines are?????

We really Love these wines! Take a few minutes and talk with the owners, Micah and Heather about their love of wine, it's educational and entertaining! We joined the wine club right away to get the discounts because we knew we would drink a lot of it! We haven't been disappointed with anything we've had from Cedar River Cellars. Favorites are the Confluence, Cab Franc, Syrah and Viognier. I'd love to see them featured in local wine bars and restaurants to class up wine selection around Renton!

Definitely worth the drive from Seattle. Tasting was $8/disposable cup or $12/take home wine glass. Unlike some winery tastings, tastings here were enough you could actually taste the wine. We bought a bottle of each wine tasted and one on faith (Micah would have opened a bottle to allow tasting but based on the other wines, was sure it would be great).

We showed up late and were still welcomed in. Rather than turn us away, the owner Micah gave us a tour and still sampled his wine. Never have had a winery so excited to give us a tour. The wine was great too. I will definitely be back.
