Cecilia's Taqueria

Came here during my trip to Liberty Market. My wife was craving a breakfast item so I bought the Machaca Burrito. Service was friendly and very prompt. The burrito came out absolutely huge she was not able to finish.Was not able to try any of their other items but interested in their ceviche next time.

I was given 2- 50.00 dlls gift cards during the holidays for this restaurant, and i was excited to come check out this place, brought my girlfriend and by the time i had to pay, the gentleman at the register did not know how to redeem the gift cards, then i asked him if he could call either the manager or owner and instead they gave me her phone number to reach out, i ended up paying out of my pocket, to make matters worse, they made a mistake on my girlfriends order twice and i kindly asked them if they could re-do her order so on of the cooks gave us attitude and grabbed the plate and threw it in the trash and said, "well i'm going to have to make it again", which leads to my question, did they teach them about customer service? probably not, i saw another customer asking them to fix their order and same they did not seem very happy having to re-do another order. I contacted the owner via text while i was there and all she responded with was: "Hello Cesar, can I ask where you got this from? I am not familiar with this gift card". i explained about how unsatisfied i was with the service and the reason and never heard back.

Stopped by Cecilia's Taqueria during a recent work trip in San Diego. Located in the Liberty Public Market, Cecilia's Taqueria is a solid option for Mexican food among the plethora of choices within the building. Prices were reasonable compared to their competitors within the market and the burrito was tasty. I ended up ordering a California Burrito with no sour cream. The staff was friendly and the preparation time was reasonable. The burrito was fresh and warm upon receiving it. Upon unwrapping it to start eating, the burrito was a nice size and hearty. The first bite revealed a generous amount of fixings. A good amount of tender carne asada and balance of the other garnishing. A solid burrito. Cecilia's Taqueria is definitely a reliable option if you're looking for Mexican fare at Liberty Public Market. I would return again in the future to try more items from their menu.

This just for their coconut flan. Yum! It is in the thick smooth style I love, not the jiggly jello style most places sell. This looked and tasted homemade.

I got the veggie burrito. Fast. Easy. Delicious. I will always come here for yummy Mexican food.

I have lived in San Diego for decades but hardly go to Liberty Public Market. Recently, I have had some of Cecilia's food and it's so tasty! The portions are generous. Chicken rolled tacos are full of chicken, unlike other places I have been to whose are mostly corn tortilla with a bit of chicken. The pollo asada burritos are so filling I could only eat half and the shrimp burrito is bursting at the seam (I'm NOT kidding) with shrimp.If you are going to Liberty Station make sure to stop by Cecilia's for authentic Mexican food.

The food was the worst Mexican food I have ever try. Tacos cold, I had the cashier touch the tortillas and cold,Instead of changing the tortillas for new the ladie just trow it to grill with out using gloves, unsanitary, and Manager didn't care he told cashier to refund me. This place should be close .Gives bad name to Mexican food.

Opting for the California burrito stuffed with lots of beef and delicious sauce, we always stop at Cecilia's when there are so many choices. The food is always fresh. Ordering is clunky without a way to be notified your food is ready so you have to stick close if you are dining outside to hear your food order being called.

Terrible taco's and worst service. Spend your money elsewhere in the Market. Full stop: avoid this place.

I'm so surprised at the size of burrito. It is about 1/3 of original size. I never post buts it's super surprising.
