I love small family owned and run deli's like this one, and this one didn't disappoint. The ladies working behind the counter were great. Very friendly and helpful. I had the meatball sub and it was very tasty. The bread is delicious. My buddy had a turkey sub and he said it was great. The prices are very reasonable. The decor is a little dated but don't let that fool you because the food is really good and the service with a smile was awesome. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.

Such a cute place with very friendly staff! I had the Italian sub and my friend had the chicken salad. Both half sizes. The Italian was good and filled with meat, chicken salad was simple but good. We both thought the bread was a little on the sweet side but definitely fresh. Only cold sandwiches come in half size (or I would have tried the steak) and it is cash only. The iced tea was huge and good. Next time I'm trying the cheesesteak!

This is everything you want for comfort food, small town atmosphere & hospitality and pricing! The service was fantastic & our food was delicious. You can call in your order so you don't have to wait. I suggest doing that as they were pretty busy. If you're not in a hurry, just walk in and order. It's no wonder why this place has been a staple for over 40 years. CASH ONLY! Can't wait to eat here again. We ordered chicken salad with a small pasta & a cheese steak!

I have been going here for at least 23 years, the food has never wavered, every time I have dined in or ordered out the food and service were top notch.

The ladies that work/own Casella's are wonderful. This place reminds me of being back in PA. We drive from Peoria for the best chicken salad ever.

Stopped by for a carry out lunch out today as I was looking forward to tying this local family owned joint.The staff was friendly and helpful on my two selections.I did the Pepper and Cheese and wifey did their Ham and Cheese. I will say their bread is amazing and soft and the sauce used for the P & C was sweet and savory. Loved it!I had a bite of the Ham and Cheese and it was great. My P & C was good but I think if there was a toasted bread option, that would've been great. Since the heat of the sandwich and given it was rolled up in Aluminum Foil, it made the bread a little squishy.If I go back, I feel either eat a hot sandwich there or stick with the Cold sandwiches.Plenty of strip mall parking and CASH ONLY!!!

It's like stepping back in time, but in a good way. They treat you like family and are serving up some seriously good sandwiches. I went with a half and half getting half of their acclaimed chicken salad and half a chicken steak. Flavors were outstanding and the hoagie rolls were among the best I've had. Be sure and bring cash, no cards. However, they do take Venmo if you want. Will I be back? You bet!

As always...the Best place to eat in Scottsdale. 40 plus years, we had our 40th class reunion for the class of 82 lunch gathering at Casella's...it brought back memories while catching up with old friends. The Pizza Hoagie never disappoints...

What a fantastic little mom and pop restaurant! I happen to be at a meeting nearby and was looking up places. What a hidden gem, and it has been there forever. Bringing cash. The food was absolutely incredible! Super friendly too!
