We went for our anniversary and a delicious dinner! We tried:- Prosciutto di Parma: we had a half order which was delicious and just enough for two people to share.- Tajarin Con Burro E Salvia: SO GOOD and thehalf order was the perfect size considering we were ordering more food.- Agnolotti: My partner really enjoyed this and we also had a half order.- Braciola Di Maiale: the best pork chop I've had in a while, loved the veggies and sauce as well.- Zuppa Inglese: this resembled something like a lemon tiramisu, the perfect refreshing end to our meal.Overall, 5/5 for wonderful service, romantic and cozy ambiance, and the delicious meal! Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner with a small party.

We had to work hard to get a reservation here and after it being recommended several times, I really wanted to try Spinasse. I am typically faithful to Osteria La Spiga but love trying new spots. We got a table at 930p on a weeknight so it is obvious people do love it here. My best friend and I went next door to their sister restaurant and ordered drinks while we waited for our table to be available. We asked the host some friendly questions while sitting at the bar and they were extremely brisk and clearly could care less whether we lived or died. It was a little off-putting as a start to our evening. When we went back to Spinasse once our table was ready, our server was lovely and made up for the aggression next door. We ordered the funghi to start which was delicious, mushrooms cooked and seasoned well. We had tajarin con burro e salvia and tajarin tarfufo for our entrees. The pasta was cooked wayyyyy too long and was sort of soggy. The tartufo was bland and disappointing, though the flavor of the burro a salvia was better. The dessert we ordered was the panna cotta and the torta allo yogurt e limone. The panna cotta was super salty and almost inedible and the torta was overly sweet and sacrine. I just don't think there food lives up to the hype and the price point and probably wouldn't return.

Food, service, ambience: absolutely Everything was delicious, I was seated relatively quickly considering I didn't have a reservation(: everyone was very kind. I think the only off-putting part for me was being sat directly in-front of the staff kiosk/being able to hear my waiter in training. Maybe it's because I work in a kitchen I unintentionally pick up on it, but it just put me in the head space that I had to 'perform' my dinner experience for learning purposes. Rather than escaping and enjoying my solo birthday dinner (granted, they didn't know it was my birthday) I just wish I was sat further away, ignorance is bliss

Very good fine dining experience with good service from the kind servers. Food was a little bit dense and rich, but love trying new flavor combinations. Highly recommend the squash appetizer, didn't get a picture, but it was so good! Also, there is a really good atmosphere for date night with a friend or loved one.

My husband and I came in for our wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful evening, minus some bumps! I am very partial to Italian and have been craving house made pasta. Growing up in Chicago, good Italian, is well, everywhere, and I've missed it dearly after living in Hawaii for a few years. We booked a 5pm reservation because, well, we weren't in the mood for battling late night traffic and wanted good parking. When they opened, we were greeted cheerfully and seated right away. The restaurant was decked out in holiday cheer, with dim lighting and cute mismatch chairs throughout. Lovely art everywhere, which adds to the charm, and should you be brave, there are coat hooks near the hall leading the bathroom to hang your coat. Our waiter was friendly and able to offer my wine noob hubs a pairing with his pancetta ripiena, which he forgot to order veggies with but didn't mind because he very much inhaled the pork belly! The FULL order of tajarin con burro e salvia is definitely enough for a single person, but I did give him a taste. The mazzi di fiori is a wonderful cocktail if you're having the simple pasta. Overall, it was a bit mushy but good... not al dente at all but hit the spot. The bread helped but tasted a bit burnt.I will say... these are not family style portions at all. I'm not sure why they say they are unless you eat VERY little. Now, for dessert, the drinking chocolate is rich! It's delicious but rich, and the tortino is good, though. I wish it was more cranberry than caramel. Overall, it was a good night start to our anniversary. I wish I could have started with a salad, but unfortunately, only 1 is vegetarian friendly without having to modify, and I'm not really a fan of chicory. I'm very curious how their pasta changes seasonally, so we MAY be back during the summer! Perchance a gnocchi, but then again, maybe not based on how my husband's stomach responded to all the hidden cream....as a side note DON'T park in the garage next to the restaurant, the code doesn't match the app! There's plenty of street parking in the area, and unless you're going to be spending all night here, 2 hours is more than enough!

One of the fancier Italian restaurants, this place is unique as they offer a tasting menu consisting of all the dishes on the menu (Menu Degustazione - every antipasto, primo, and secondo on the menu), which we went here specifically for. We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for Sunday, as reservations seem to be very hard to come by, much harder than I anticipated, but the restaurant is actually fairly small and reservations are for 2 hours. One thing they could do is to offer separate reservations for the tasting menu, because we were told the experience would take 2.5hrs, but we only have the table for 2 hours due to peak hours, but they were still able to squeeze in all the dishes in the 2 hour timeframe without a rush. Antipasto:Prosciutto di parma - smoky and fruity. I recommend this one.Insalata russa - kind of like a potato salad. Ingredients say there is tuna but I didn't really taste itInsalata di cicoria - quite tangy and funky with the gorgonzola but fairly solidInsalata di cavolo - cabbage salad, the anchovy egg sauce and pancetta kind of make this kind of like a combination of caesar salad and carbonaraFillo ai funghi finferli - I really really love this one. This is still an antipasti but served warm. It is very garlicky and the addition of caramelized onions make this super flavorful. I recommend this one.Primo:Tajarin con burro e salvia - egg yolk pasta with butter and sage. The pasta is like angel hair and the butter and sage flavor is a little bit on the subtler side. The pasta is a bit on the softer side to my liking.Tajarin al ragu - similar pasta texture, but with beef ragu instead. This one was a bit more flavorfulRisotto con matsutake - the choice of mushroom is a bit too overpowering, and the risotto was a bit too salty. I would skip this oneCavatelli con confit d'anatra - this is my one and only favorite pasta dish of the 4. The cavatelli is cooked perfectly to al dente, and the duck is very tender. I highly recommend this one.Secondo:Polpette di coniglio con salsa di rap caramellate - rabbit meatballs - the texture here kind of reminds me of a takoyaki. I enjoyed this one.Trota alla piemontese - pan seared trout. This one is decent, with a nice smokiness, but a little bit overcooked. The vegetables within were pretty goodPancetta ripiena - very heavy and filling but delicious. There was a bit too much fat compared to a standard pancetta, that it was a bit uncomfortable. The meat within, however, was very tender and picks up the sauce well.Service is decent and the waitress recommended nice red and white wines to pair with the whole tasting menu, as we didn't want to drink too much and the wine pairing is a bit on the expensive side for what you get. Wine pairing consists of 2 glasses of wine total for $65, which they spread it across as 4 half glasses of different wines. We got 2 glasses for less than half, but even though there is half as much variety, the wines they recommended paired most of the dishes well. Definitely arrive with an empty stomach as this tasting menu is aloooooot of food!

We dined at this place and had a pleasant experience. While the menu was fairly standard for Italian cuisine, the flavors of the dishes were unique and unconventional. Each dish had an interesting taste profile and intricate details that made the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, we were pleasantly impressed by both the food and the service.

Securing a reservation at this spot is quite challenging, even with a one-month advance booking. However, the effort is absolutely worthwhile! All the noodles are meticulously handmade in-house, cut to hair-width, allowing them to absorb the sauce perfectly. The signature egg noodles boast a delightful buttery flavor, while my personal favorite is the ragu noodle. The fresh bread and tiramisu also complemented the experience beautifully.

We booked an event this month for their private room. Allison and Alex were absolutely phenomenal! They both were incredibly gracious, attentive, SPEEDY and informative. They went above and beyond, helped get everything we needed before the event and helped to keep it all running so smoothly! It was the most seamless experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I've traveled all over the US and not one other place has come close. This was a memorable experience, Allison is plenty resourceful and she worked so well with our florist in addition to our friends/family. Alex didn't let us forget a single item on our way out --even caught our attention when we forgot. We are so grateful to the staff.
