Casa Vieja

I've eaten here and at the other location and have always had friendly service and good food. My usual is chicken chimichangas. So good. And the fajitas are also good. The restaurant was clean. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

The wait staff could learn to have personalities. They came very close to falling on the indifferent side.Food: 1Full disclosure, I'm from Southern CA and Southern AZ, I know what good Mexican food is. This was the most bland Mexican I've ever eaten. Unless you're competing with Taco Hell you DO NOT use ground beef in enchaladas, especially when it has no flavor. The rice was bland and the refried beans were only passable. On the good side the salsa was very good. We moved to KY two years ago and understand that the food in this region is not what we're used to, but the owners of Casa Viejo need to introduce their clientele to authentic Mexican dishes that pop with flavor. In short, a good Mexican restaurant continues to elude us.

Oh this is in my back yard and I'm still finding my way around in Music City Nashville, TN USA. Nevertheless, I was passing by and hubby said let's try this Mexican restaurant, yes of course I agreed. We were seated when we first came in . The restaurant has a nice size of patrons but not too many for lunch time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Jesus is our waiter and he knows the menu very well. I ordered a Margarita and the number 5 lunch special- taco, chili relleno and rice and beans. Hubby carne asada burrito and rice and beans. Overall the food is delish and I think you should try it out if you like Mexican food!

This was fantastic! Great service. Excellent taste and presentation in a lovely decor. It was superb. The portions were satisfying and delicious. And, the frosted mug for the Modelo Especial was very much appreciated (lots of luck getting that at one of your chain establishments!!). Oh, and full disclosure - we're from Texas and know great Mexican food when we have it. Highly recommended.

Love the fried fish that I ordered. So crispy & yummy. Daughter had the beef enchilada & said it was good. Hubby had the chicken & shrimp salad & was not impressed - doused with melted cheese.

There are better Mexican establishments l, however this one Never disappoints. Fair pricing and above average food.

Food was excellent. The restaurant is clean and the climate was comfortable. Service was ok, but the restaurant was a little busy so it was what I would expect. Love this place.

This is one of my families favorite places to celebrate important events and birthdays. The food is very good. I love the nachos supremeos. The servers are nice and very helpful. The restaurant has a nice look to it and good music. Would definitely recommend.

Horrible service waited 20 minutes for some hot sauce and water. Honestly it's much better tasting food in Hendersonville please do yourself a fair and go there instead!!!

The food has been great except the last time I ate there. I ordered fried tilapia and it was the whole fish. Lots of bones and very difficult to eat! Not good at all! Service has always been great
