This place was recommended to us by someone who is from Phoenix. Went in the middle of the week about 30 minutes before they closed and were seated right away.Very very authentic experience.Delicious all the way through the end.I don't remember the last time I had mole like this. The sauce flavor was not overpowering. The rice was not what I am typically accustomed to in a Mexican restaurant. It wasnt spanish rice, it wasnt red tomato based but was a jasmine rice, almost had the flavor one would get from eating at an Indian restaurant. The rice wasn't bad at all, just different than the norm. The beans were very tasty. The quantity of chicken and mole was plenty.I barely was able to finish all the food on my plate.Originally asked for their seasonal margarita, Prickly, but it was already sold put for the day. Instead I ordered a cucumber jalapeño margarita and it was the best way to close off a hot day with. Very refreshing with a little spice.Plenty of tequila with salt and chile on the rim to enjoy every sip. This place is authentic down to the music in the background. I heard 70s, and 80s music that reminded me of eating at home with my parents. Very tasteful music.Angel was our server and he was excellent! Thanks for a great first time experience.

Came with our work crew for a birthday celebration. A few of the group had been here before and it was new for the rest of us, including me. There were 8 in our group and we made a reservation prior to arriving. Nice place and interesting to enter through the kitchen, which I loved and slowly looked around! Everything was neat and organized and it was a buzz of activity. Service was quick and efficient and as we waited for a couple of others to join us, everyone ordered drinks and chips with salsa and bean dip were delivered. The salsa was hot...according to this person, who is admittedly a whimp with spicy! but the bean dip was good, flavorful and not spicy at all. The chips were colored and freshly made, great crisp and not too salty. Meals ordered were the lunch special enchilada with chicken, the Tinga Empanada, a couple of the lunch special taco plates, quesadilla with chicken and a side of rice. I am including pictures of everyone's dishes, which all came with rave reviews for the freshness, quality of the food and of course the amazing tastes. I ordered the Cochinita Empanada, which was amazing! The crust was like no other empanada I've had, light and crispy and just a good flavor. The pork inside was full and flavorful and tender! So good! I also ordered a side of the rice and was expecting Spanish rice but they serve more of a white rice with seasoning and corn and veggies. The dish also came with a salad covered with pickled red onion. The empanada had crema on top and the whole dish was so good! I actually took half home for the wife to have some. This was a big dish and half of the empanada was perfect. Overall a great experience and can't wait to come again!

My compadre Martín told me to come here if I'm ever in Phoenix Arizona. It's one of his favorite places to eat and he kept bragging about how delicious everything is there. So here I am with my family and it is bbbbbbomb. Including the horchata and tamarindo drink. If you go, don't forget to try their hibiscus salsa. It is ::::::so good:::::. I've never tasted anything like this and it's perfection. My suegro would likely give it 5 stars on the authentic 70/80/90s Mexican music they were playing alone. Lol. Would give everything 10 stars if I could. Just go.

Cute lil place. If you blink you'll pass by. When you enter it's strange because it's like you come through the kitchen. Staff is really nice. Food was so so. I have a rule that I wont eat at a Mexican restaurant if they don't have French fries ..the don't disappoint! Nice ones too! Never had to add salt to Mexican food though; that was new. I'm told there is 'Mexico Mexican' 'Arizona Mexican' 'California Mexican' and 'Texas Mexican'. Think this might be the California one. Been here a couple times because I have California friends who enjoy it but I'd never come in my own. Flies have been an issue the few times I've been, too. Not like an infestation but even one or two buzzing around your head can make it hard to enjoy your meal. Like I said, I'd come back if invited.

I met a few friends here for dinner on Thursday and it was a great experience! First of all, the place is very small, and parking is a little bit of a nightmare. However, I was there early enough to snag a decent parking spot. My friends and I opted to stay outside due to the noise level inside, and the patio was shaded with beautiful trees and lit with really pretty Edison lightbulbs. there's a salsa bar in the kitchen, which kind of feels like you shouldn't be in there lol but it's really cool that you can see the food being made and that they have nothing to hide from their customers.I got two tacos, the fish taco and the shrimp taco with bell peppers and cheese. The tacos were divine! Absolutely out of this world. The bean dip and chips that were served prior to our meal were also really really good. I got the jamaica and it was phenomenal. It was also served in a absolutely giant glass. You definitely get what you pay for here. The service was great. I was seated right away, and checked on several times before my friends arrived. Once everyone arrived, our waters were never empty, and our server was very attentive and kind throughout our meal. I would absolutely come back! I would just recommend coming a little earlier in the day to avoid the rush.

I found this restaurant based off a TikTok review that was spot on. Food and service was absolutely amazing at lunchtime highly encourage you to try this one out. I had the pozole which was delicious and three different tacos. The only negative was that I cannot stand the smell of Fabuloso and they had their mops hanging outside by where I parked, and that smell permeated my nostrils. But hey, at least they're mopping.

Overall rating: 3.5/5Wait: 4/5Arrival time: Sunday 4:45pmFood: 3.5/5Order: Taco Plate Pastor, Fish, Taco Corazon, Camarónes CulichiService: 4/5Price: 3.5/5Worth a try but probably won't be backCasa Corazon Restaurant, where the heart of Mexican cuisine is promised but not always delivered. On a bustling Sunday, the wait was bearable, but the anticipation built up for the Taco Plate Pastor and Fish was quickly deflated by their parched and lackluster taste. The Taco Corazon, a dish that should have been the heartbeat of the meal, missed a beat with its dryness. While the Camarónes Culichi was a creamy delight, it couldn't compensate for the rest of the meal that left our palates wanting. The salsa bar stood out with its variety, yet it wasn't enough to elevate the overall dining experience. Service was decent, but when the flavors don't dance on your tongue, even the best service fades into the background. With prices that suggest a feast for the senses, Casa Corazon needs to rekindle its flame to truly capture the essence of the heart.

Casa Corazon Restaurant stole my heart from the moment I stepped through its doors! Walking in, you're greeted with the warm embrace of what feels like a Mexican family's kitchen - cozy, inviting, and filled with the promise of delicious flavors. One of the first things that caught my attention was the generous portion sizes. Each dish is served with abundance, ensuring that you'll leave with a satisfied appetite. The Al Pastor Burrito was massive! And speaking of generous, the complimentary chips and bean dip served upon arrival were a delightful start to our meal. We decided to try something new and opted for the Mazapan Agua Fresca - a refreshing and flavorful choice that quickly became a favorite.During our visit, we arrived during peak hours, but the staff graciously offered us patio seating to avoid a 20-minute wait. As we made our way to the patio, we couldn't help but be impressed by the interior design - vibrant colors, rustic accents, and charming decor. While I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on the patio, I can't wait to return and explore the indoor seating area, as well as sample more of Casa Corazon's delectable dishes. With such exceptional food, ambiance, and hospitality, Casa Corazon has secured a spot as one of my top picks for Mexican dining in town - perfect for a date night.
