Casa Chapala's Grill

This restaurant is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and I think you will like it too.The service is very quick and you can just sit wherever you want and they will come to you. You get your food within 10-15 minutes, and the food is amazing.The ambiance feels authentic and they have a lot of arcade games and Mexican music. There's lot of comfortable seating and you can grab a menu to the left of the ATM machine at the right entrance.The food of course is delicious and my favorite dish to get is the lengua(beef tongue) burrito dinner. They never fail to make the beef tongue tender and juicy. I know it might sound odd to some, considering its tongue, but trust me, it is 100% something worth trying! :) 10/10!

Authentic Mexican food in sit down restaurant but very reasonable prices and nice portions. Our friend Marla was right on the money with this recommendation! The nice tortilla chips were served with two types of sauces: a green and a red with a very unique flavor and texture. Both excellent. I ate the camarones Al Mojo De Ajo = shrimp simmered in a garlic sauce served with Spanish rice and salad. Came with grilled flour tortillas done warm and perfectly. The garlic flavor was explosive and seemed to be pickled a bit. Can't explain it but it was amazing! I can't wait to try the other items on the menu next time. Taco Tuesday is also being advertised and it's $1 a taco!! $1.29 if paid with credit cards. Wow!

The place was exactly what I've been looking for. A sit down Mexican Rea that was a dive. They bring chips and a few salsas which had some heat. My Enchiladas verdes were outstanding! Came with rice and beans which were good. Service was typical...A solids four stars on food taste

Winner, winner, taco dinner! And lunch, too! After hearing about Casa Chapala's $1 taco Tuesday deal, I headed there for lunch on my first available Tuesday. I arrived around 11:30 a.m. because I know they get really busy for lunch and dinner. When I arrived, some people were eating in the restaurant, but there was not yet a wait for takeout orders at the counter or at the drive-through. I decided to try chicken tacos with both offered toppings, so I got a few with cilantro and onion and the rest with lettuce and tomato. After trying both, it's cilantro and onion for the win. They were so good! The tacos came with cups of sauce, and I ended up adding a little shredded cheese after I got home. The tacos are on the small side, as is pretty typical anywhere, but the price is right if you want to get a few extras for dinner or a large lunch. The service was super fast and friendly. I'll be back soon for another taco Tuesday deal and will return another day of the week to try some other entrees, too.

Best steak burrito I've ever had!! The steak was tender and not fatty. Chopped up well. Just perfect!!!!

First time trying their tacos for taco Tuesday and they were delicious. Their salsa was so good and their fresh candies were a great dessert. The gentlemen at the front was very kind! This will be our new taco Tuesday spot

Expensive food that's nasty & cheap. Beef burrito is just a teaspoon of beef, shredded lettuce, & canned vegetables mixed in. Cheap filler & priced at $10.00. Three tacos $12.00 so skimpy you will eat them and still be hungry. This place is a terrible rip off, poor quality, terrible flavor & I will never return.

Order looks good but the tripe tacos has only few pieces of meat.It would be nice to get what we have ordered. Ordered cabeza taco and fish taco they must have replaced it with another shrimp and lengua taco. It would be nice to get a heads up if they wouldn't have what we have ordered.

The Thursday burrito deal can't be beat... the burritos taste so good they are grilled, they are awesome!

Good Mexican restaurant in Wheeling with a variety of menu options. I eat from there regularly never had an issue.
