Casa Agave Mexican Restaurant

Absolutely wonderful the first time I went last week. The food was extremely fresh and the service was strong. 5 star. Tonight, however, the food was disappointing. Chips & salsa were very good but my chicken quesadilla was ok at best and the steak burrito was average. 2 star. I am giving it an overall 3 star because we all need grace.

UPDATE! I gave it another try yesterday and it was much, much better. Our waitress was Irma and she was on point. Got us everything we needed and kept our drinks full!I ordered the chorizo queso again and it was 100x better. Cheese was thicker, chorizo had some good chunks and they added jalapeños! I'll be back for this!I'm still on the fence with the fajitas hawaiianas. They were better but I wish there was more of the main protein and bigger pineapple chunks.Happy this spot improved and I'll be back again and again as long as they maintain this level of quality or better!

Choripollo is perhaps my favorite dish at a Mexican place. And this restaurant does it really superbly. The chorizo has a really good flavor. The chicken is tender and moist. My friend got the same but with double rice instead of rice and beans. And both orders came out correctly.I also got the Flan. It was exactly what I wanted it to be.The chips were fresh and crispy. I was so happy with the queso that I forgot to try the salsa. The building is brand new; so it is very clean. Very casual atmosphere and I cannot wait until the spring to sip on margaritas on their patio!!!Kudos to Ramon, the GM, who was friendly and did come to say to check in with us and see how everything was. I will definitely be back!!

Chips and Salsa are pretty standard for the area. Too tomatoey and no spice unfortunately. I had a quesadilla that was pretty solid. My son had the Tacos and they were pretty good. The wife had a different quesadilla than myself and it was decent. It's their opening week so I expect things to improve over time. With Mexican restaurants on every corner I didn't see anything that will set this one apart. It will be your standard 4 star spot.

This place is the real deal. The service is incredible, I was getting chips and Sal's before I was even sitting down. Food is excellent, very reasonably priced

Fast service , hot food , friendly waiter . Clean facility . Would for sure go back and recommend to others .

Not good show for new opening. Only five tables, so if you have more than four to fit in booth expect s LONG wait. We had 6 and waited for over 30 minutes. Greeting the table was as long as the wait. Most people took leftovers, suspect they filled up on chips. No real concern to serve customers, which for a new comer to Gallatin, there are competition across town which will get my business even though I live next door. Asked three times for flour tortillas. Sure we have. Never got.Nothing special on menu, so that is not a draw. Food is not bad, not exceptional so that is not a draw.All said I will try once more, expect better, so i will see if kinks worked out or just another mediocre mexican restaurant.

As a local living in the large subdivision across the street, we eagerly awaited the opening. They began the light opening yesterday, with the grand opening coming soon. The decor and layout is great. Management and Staff were excellent. The food is delicious compared to others in the area. The thing we will enjoy the most is the location.

They started off poorly but the food and service has improved a lot. I really like the tacos.
