Love this chocolate/ice cream /pastry/ sandwich shopLiterally a one stop shop! Atmosphere makes you feel at home . The decorations are relaxed and tables are always clean Outside seating in the front or in the garden which is covered in the back .They have the cutest library nook inside I had no idea that was there ! With a table and comfy chairs We ordered : fruit tarte , blueberry cheesecake , ice cream and a pastry that was warmed with goat cheese . I wasn't a fan of the tarte since it felt like there was no bottom, it was soupy and seemed more like a mousse on the inside ? The chocolate was bitter and I wasn't. A fan Blueberry cheesecake was WONDERFUL ! Fresh , fluffy, and yummy Ice cream: they have rotating homemade flavors I had the chocolate chip coffee and wow .... Best flavor I've ever had . It was a coffee lovers dream . Goat cheese pastry : fluffy firm bread exterior , soft melty goodness on the inside . It was wonderful tastey , flavorful and warming I love coming here and will always stay true !Also the kiddos adore this spot

I've been here a few times before during my trips to port orchard. Stable coffee house with yummy desserts. I got the lemon tart recently and it had so much flavor despite being so simple. My kind of no-frills dessert. The last time I was there, someone took ten minutes to order and was being really picky about everything. I was patient but sort of hoped that the folks working would take other customers since the line behind was getting long.

It was very nice, the service, the food, the drinks also the ice cream we will come again.It's good for the family too they have books and board games if I'm not mistaken, good for hanging out they have outdoor seats in the back.

New to the area so took a little time to meander on Main Street. Popped in here when the heat was too much. As much as I love pastries, I went for ice cream which I rarely eat. The blackberry sorbet was fantastic! The young lady was very helpful and offered a few ice cream recommendations, then offered a couple of samples (all delicious). The backyard garden is excellent, cheers to the gardener. Given the owner does seem to read these reviews, I would suggest turning down the music or changing the genre. It was very loud, and grating at times (and it was music I liked) There was table of 3-4 elderly trying to enjoy their ice cream and chat but they couldn't hear each other. They left pretty quickly. I tried to do a little work but it was too distracting and left. I can't wait to be hungry and return for some of the many things they offer!

A quaint little bakery that packs great treats. Their chocolate cake is definitely the one that makes me come back here from Seattle.

Good spot for ice cream or something savory. I ordered the mushroom and cheese bun, it was filling. I think they used to make a blue cheese ice cream but its been a long time since they've offered it.

We got tarts, cookies, a chocolate croissant, three cheese quiche, and a amaretto cherry cheese cake. All of it was absolutely delicious. The staff working were really kind, and the vibe is chill. Would recommend!

Wife and I went to try this past weekend as she saw the shop and wanted to try plus I saw the reviews. The service was ok, no one jumping to help, seems very "next customer" type of service (guy in mask seemed like he did not really want to be there that helped us). There was seating inside and there were ppl there. It gave off a place to stop during your walk or stroll while in downtown. It seemed outdated and needed its own vibe as it seemed to be using the prior tenants decor/ look. Wife ordered a pastry which was a 4 star. Ordered 2 specialty drinks 1 star. My wife's was bland and mine was way too sweet. Wife ended up dumping hers and drank mine as I could not get past the first sip. We personally will not return as we were very disappointed in the drinks & pastry on the higher price, but if you are into pastries & sweets, give it a try while supporting a small business.

Carter's is one of the best places around!! They have the most delicious cakes, pastries, and savory options as well! And they make chocolate!! They have truffles, handmade trees at Christmas and eggs at Easter, they have chocolate heart boxes you can have filled with truffles for Valentine's Day and everything we have had has been phenomenal! And there is more!! They make their own Ice cream and it is incredible! Swirly Jack is a favorite ( vanilla with a Carmel and Jack Daniel's Swirl) and their plain old chocolate and vanilla are top notch!!The proprietors are always on site making new creations. They are wonderful and welcoming. You should go!!

Wish I had taken a photo of my ice cream before I ate it to show how good it looked! I got a scoop of one of their specials, fudge berry, in a sugar cone and it was the best ice cream I've ever had. Will be stopping anytime we are in the area! Highly highly recommend.
