Carruth Cellars

Hidden gem! We came in on a Friday evening and had a lovely evening. Carruth is tucked away on Cedros so it's a little hidden. There is street parking nearby. There are tables outside and a nice barrel room feel inside. I definitely recommend the bartender flight! They will put together a flight of 5 tastings based on your preferences. Mine was spot on!!! There is a nice selection of cheese, charcuterie, and a baguette or crackers available. Everything we had was delicious and paired perfectly with the wine! Don't miss the purple haze cheese!!

Cutest little wine spot in Solana beach! Indoor and outdoor seating with great selections of wine and cheese / meats. Dog friendly! Definitely joining their awesome monthly membership club.

We have been visiting Carruth a number of times both during regular business hours and also for private events. They are located in the beautiful Cedros District which is just a short walk from the beach. Their wine is great and service is wonderful and efficient. There is no food onsite other than some charcuterie options but they allow you to bring your own food in. Plus they also have the occasional food truck and pizza Wednesday (my favorite!). They also have music on certain nights. Kids and dogs are allowed.

Had a great time with close friends and friends of friends enjoying the Zin, Petite Syrah and chilled Pinot Noir and snacks! Also loved the amazing wood furniture decor and lively crowd - oh sorry we were the lovely crowd!

I've been visiting Carruth Cellar for many years, love the chill vibe and a cozy ambiance. This location doesn't have food on site but you can bring your own. There is live music and pizza pop up on Wednesdays . Lots of communal seating with long tables. Its family and pet friendly. I don't personally like dogs inside the winery but its allowed. There is a small outdoor patio with umbrellas. Cool spot for a date night or a glass of wine with your friends. Lately I've been loving their Unicorn red blend

Love this spot here in Solona Beach! The staff are so helpful and pleasant! Whenever I take the train home from work I stop in. Can't recommend this spot enough.

Awesome place. Really good wine, great vibe. People are nice, dog friendly. What more could you want?

I can't rave enough about Carruth Cellars and the incredible experience they gave us. My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner there on July 12th, and from start to finish, it was exceptional. As a bride who was stressed out and frazzled, I mixed up the dates in our contract and accidentally booked for the wrong day. When we showed up in a panic, the team at Carruth Cellars didn't miss a beat.They went out of their way to accommodate us, transforming the space and clearing it out in just one hour. I was floored by their efficiency and grace under pressure. Nick immediately jumped in to help rearrange the tables and clear the area, and Hayley, the event manager, arrived swiftly to make sure everything was in place. Throughout the chaos, their kindness and professionalism were a true comfort to me and my family.Carruth Cellars is already a beautiful venue, but it's the warm, supportive staff that makes it truly special. Whether you're planning an event or just stopping by for a great glass of wine, Carruth Cellars is a place you'll want to visit.And if you're wondering what to try, our personal favorites--and those of our guests--were the Rosé and Sangiovese. They were simply delightful!

Such a cute spot down the road from my place! It's got a very cute, casual ambiance. Love the wine barrel background and the fire pit outside. Got the tempranillo - really delicious and light perfect for a weeknight glass, or weekend, honestly drink it whenever it's great. The wine club is great and I highly recommend it!
