Great place for hand crafted Barista Drinks and breakfast foods. The coffees are from a local small batch roaster in Coffee County. The Cafe is a program of the non profit Carpe Artista which provides Career training in Entertainment and the Arts. Of course culinary is an art expression and creatives need coffee. All the food is now created through a partnership with another non profit called Sweet Addiction. Their mission is to provide culinary and business training for women coming out of addiction recovery and human trafficking. They now use the Cafe Kitchen and prepare the great quiches and Cinnamon rolls and other fresh baked goods using Carpe Cafe's long time recipes. You will love the coffee, food, people and the artsy local vibe.

We loved this cute place! It has a coffee house vibe with tables, but also has couches and comfy chairs for relaxing. We placed our order and the lattes came right out! They were just the right temperature with just the right foam! And smooth as silk....yummy! We shared a huge freshly baked cinnamon roll....delicious! I had a piece of bacon quiche - the crust was made with hash browns! It was so good! We would be glad to stop here again!

Cute little coffee shop with some yummy food. Very nice people there too. Cute like shaded patio too for those of us that like being outside. The only issue I had was finding parking. If there is any for this Cafe I didn't see it. I ended up parking behind the place after circling the roundabout looking. Very short walk to the door but it would nice to have a sign telling you where to park.

I love this cafe. They have the type of food that I enjoy to eat and everyone is very nice and helpful and a big plus the cafe is clean. I enjoy going here I bring along a friend and turn them on to the cafe and now they are going on a regular basis and they are turning their friends on to the cafe also. We are all satisfied with this cafe.

I'm in town for only a couple of days, but my crew needed some caffeine and this place was just down the street. I got to say, the cold brew I had was one of the best cold brews I've ever had.Trying out local coffee shops during my travels is one of my favorite things to do. You can find excellent coffee all over the place, and Carpe Cafe is one of those places! I can't wait to rip open my bag of beans when I get home.

Absolutely the BEST quiche around! Friendly staff. These guys know how to make an amazing latte, but if straightforward coffee is more your thing, then you must give the Carpe Grog a try. They also offer a great take on a Cuban sandwich or give the pimento cheese a try (be warned- it has a bit of a kick with the jalapeños). I have so many favorites, as I stop by almost weekly!

My wife and I were in town visiting her niece. I found this place wayyy before we got to Smyrna because I know that she needs her coffee in the morning (I know my wife). People seemed to rave about this place and, once we stepped inside, we could see why. This place is all about the arts, which you can see in the decor and the community sponsored events that they hold.We walked in and were immediately greeted by the lady and young man who were working. They have a bunch of different drinks as well as lots of food choices. If we weren't getting on the road to head back to Florida, we would have sat down and had some breakfast. My wife ordered a coconut latte and I ordered a chai latte. She said that her coffee was perfect, which I just have to take her word for because I'm not a coffee fan. My chai was also good, but I was expecting a slightly sweetened version and this was two tea bags in hot half and half (I'm a breve kinda person). I didn't start drinking it until we were in the car and down the road. Had I known it wasn't sweetened, I would have asked for some simple syrup. That said, I usually drink my bagged tea without sugar, so I wasn't completely put off by this. The only interesting thing is that it was almost $5 for the chai, which was a little confusing considering what it consisted of.Regardless, this is a great place to frequent and I'm all about supporting small businesses! We'll definitely be back if we're ever back in Smyrna.
