Caroline Tavern

Was looking for a midpoint to meet a buddy and catchup on Thanksgiving. We decided the Caroline Tavern was halfway between the two of us. We both like dive bars and the Caroline did not disappoint. We walked in and you can tell right away this is a locals kinda joint were there are a lot of regulars. They were doing a pot-luck style thanksgiving with the pool table transformed into a makeshift table. Service from Jessica was great and friendly. Drinks were cheap with generous pours. We were warmly greeted by the regulars there and overall this seems like a really cool place to grab some drinks if you like the dive bar atmosphere.

Good dive tavern. A good place to watch the game. Don't think I'm going to try the food. Lots of friendly regulars.

I found tonight to be interesting and exciting! The bartender was both attentive and witty! The guests knew how to take care of each other as well as welcoming people! Great bar, exceptional bartender (Sarah), and a fun atmosphere. May want to change the window treatments though.

I must begin this review by divulging the convenience that this bar would bestow upon my life. I live two blocks from this bar. So going into this experience I had much invested in this being the bar of my dream, but the bar of my dreams i did not find. If I had to distill my review of Caroline's into one word it would be, "stinkhole". Don't get me wrong, I love a good dive bar; but even with that history I'm not willing to dive down that far.As you walk in the bar the first thing you will notice is the scent of an aged motel. The second thing you will notice is the frosty stare of the even more aged alcoholics that inhabit the bar. All of this I would have been able to look past if their had been even a single beer on tap of higher quality than Budweiser; sadly there was not. We didn't try the food so perhaps their mozzarella sticks are a notch above the rest, but considering the fact that this is a bar and I am there for beer. Sadly I will never be going to Caroline's ever again.

The Caroline is rad. Stiff drinks, great prices, delicious fried food, super service. Covered smoking section. Clean bathrooms!Jukebox and pull tabs. Plenty of seating. Interesting (albeit a little handsy) clientele. Bonus: stone's throw from my house, so no drinking and driving here. Great little dive.

It's almost like they don't want new customers. It took me 20 years to find out the name of this place. One of the landmarks of the Fox News Circuit, for sure.Great parking!

This is a dive bar by anyone's standards, so if that is what you are looking for, you found it. They have good bar food, strong drinks, and a friendly atmosphere. It was obvious the patrons were regulars and they treated us like we were too. The bartender was friendly and welcoming.

Friendly neighborhood place. People got jobs and income.Its safe without people playing snitch games with the bartenders. All the servers here courteous speedy and thrifty if you catch my drift!

Came in to enjoy a drink and play pool with a buddy who comes here often. The people were friendly the drinks were very reasonably priced and someone even brought over some salty snacks (I think it was another customer but gives you a idea of the vibe here) the guys playing pool here we're some of the best I ever seen extremely friendly giving me advice on how to better my game. Had a great time if you want to have a good drink with friendly people that u can't go wrong here.

I've been to this bar a couple times and i had no issues, but I went last night and the blonde bartender was the rudest person I've ever met. Extremely incompetent at her job as well. This is my first time ever writing a review about any place, but just in case anyone goes in and gets the same vibe. Just know it's not you, she's just trash.
