Carniceria Los Reyes

This review is based on a single order: carne asada taco "con todo" with the shop's hottest salsa. This taco was well above average thanks to tender, tasty carne asada meat. The hot, red salsa was super tasty, just spicy enough and just salty enough. The tortilla was a little soft but the taco was damn good. I'll go back to try the bbq chicken that smelled amazing on the way in.

Central Phoenix gem! I been buying my carne asada here for over 10 years. They have everything you need for a good bbq including a salsa bar with delicious guacamole.I drive all the way down from Anthem just to purchase my carne from here.

Great food and the staff is very friendly and active I recommend everyone to stop by.

OMG! Authentic Carne Asada tacos. My benchmark from Mexican restaurants has always been their Carne Asada tacos. Los Reyes Carnecería scored 9 out of 10. (I don't believe there are 10's) The Carne Asada is cooked on wood-fired grills right outside the front door and chopped to bite-size. Most Carne Asada in my experience is tough. Theirs was very tender and very tasty, which I assume was due to the quality of their meat. (After all, it is a butcher shop.) The tortillas were uber fresh, as were the salsas. They will make the tacos (and everything else) to your specifications with your choice of garnishes, salsas, guacamole, etc. I topped my tacos off with the classic cilantro, onion, and salsa verde. I'm so excited. I can't wait to go back.

Best chicken I've ever had hands down. I'm not a big meat-eater by any measure but had to put the chicken away in the fridge for the next day otherwise I would have eaten the whole thing in one sitting. Not sure if they do this every day but they were grilling chicken outside and I got mine fresh off the grill. I was the only person speaking English inside but that's how you know it's legit and not a tourist trap. Only thing to be aware of is that Pollo al Carbon really means a whole chicken! It's a massive amount of meat so only get that if you can save some for later or are with others. I'm sure the other meats like the Carne Asada are terrific too, I don't eat red meat but if I did would have certainly got some of that too.

The Carne Asada Special #3. We had three big eaters and still some left over. Dont forget to grab the fresh still warm tortillas out of the blue cooler in front of meat case. Extensive stock of Mexican snacks candies beverages and more. Get there don't waste your money on ambiance just get it take it home and enjoy it with your loved ones. This NYer was blown away.

Not very glamorous mexican supermarket, but the food is delicious! The whole right side of the market is a hot foods area - tacos, burritos, gorditos, you name it. Prices are super affordable and they cut the meat/prep the dish right in front of you! Salsa is super spicy.

It is so organized and clean. My son really loves the food. I am vegetarian so I really didn't find anything for me but I always recommend them.
