Carne Asada

Quaint strip mall spot with booming flavors. We got the carne asada tacos and the quesabirria. Would highly recommend anything birria oriented here. They take extra care in the creation. Excellent flavor!

I'm glad I finally stopped in here.This is like Subway for tacos. You get to choose all your ingredients.I had two carne asada Quesatacos and one Fish taco. The quesatacos were nicely cooked and deliciously cheesy. The consome was better than I'm used to; not quite as salty as some places make it. The carne asada was a little dry, but very flavorful, and tender.The fish taco was great. It was fried crunchy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The toppings were all great. I had cabbage, cheese, and pico with chipotle sauce.Fast and friendly service and a nice clean-looking place.

Went to order last night. Restaurant was empty on a Friday evening which is concerning. Only 1 employee. Friendly but timing for ordering was off. Ordered a taco sampler and 2 California burritos. Made all the tacos and once done dropped the fries for the burritos, perfect to let tacos get cold while they sit. For being the only person in the restaurant it took almost 10 mins before done and that's with all the meat already prepped (no idea how long sitting). Worker preparing food kept looking at sign as to what's in a California burrito, also concerning. Burrito were NOWHERE near the size as seen in some of the photos. Also not prepared correctly, fairly sure one had salsa meant for fish tacos in it. Meat tasted ok. Lackluster service and meh food. Super disappointing because this place has good reviews, 45 bucks for 2 burros and taco sampler, should have went to senior taco instead. Maybe off night doubt I'll try it again. Also you specifically have to ask for salsa when ordering. Isn't provided or offered. When I did ask for some I was given 2 small cups for the whole order, seriously?Oh and the lids for the green salsa were not put on correctly so proceeded to dump out in the bag. Perfect touch to a 1st and last visit. There's a reason a restaurant in a busy business strip in Mesa is empty on a Friday night at 7pm.

My recent visit to Carne Asada was delightful and filling. My wife chose the carne asada burrito and was thoroughly impressed. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making every bite a joyous journey through traditional Mexican food.I opted for the carne asada fries, which were not only delicious but also generously portioned. The ample serving provided great value and left me more than satisfied. Each fry was seasoned and complemented the tender, flavorful carne asada. I also got hot Cheetos carne asada burrito that was okay although the hot Cheetos didn't really stand out.An unexpected highlight of our meal was the salsa selection. Each salsa offered its unique burst of flavor, enhancing our dishes wonderfully. Loved the green sauceRegarding pricing, we found it to be quite reasonable. The quality of the food, coupled with the portions provided, made for a fair and satisfying investment.The only average part of our meal was the hot dogs. While they were okay, they didn't quite match up to the high standards set by the other dishes. However, they were still a decent option for anyone looking for a simple, familiar taste.In conclusion, Carne Asada stands out as a fantastic choice for anyone seeking authentic Mexican flavors at fair prices. With the exception of the hot dogs, each dish we tried was a testament to the care and skill that goes into their food preparation. You guys have become one of our go to spots!

Fairly good, a little overhyped. I didn't really see the effort put into the tacos. The chicken and beef were dry. I wouldn't go back.

Taco craving had me interested in coming in here. Food was good and prepared promptly in front of us. Lunch counter style which was great. It's like a really good step-up hybrid of Filiberto's done Subway Style made to order!!! The shop is small but hits all the right notes when it comes to service, cleanliness & wide selection of toppings to please the masses. And yes, they have beer!!! Tacos however ain't cheap if you decide to go 'a la carte'. I was craving a Sonoran Hot Dog so we had the El Dogo de Sonora and a series of Street Taco Samplers that include your choice of different meats. We missed out on the Birra tacos so I plan to return for them soon but will come earlier in the day so I don't miss out.

And what better way to celebrate, besides getting tacos later of course, than to talk about this delicious spot out in Mesa, AZ?Now this place ain't bad. I really loved how big the menu is. I got the Hot Cheeto Taco Plate which had two tacos for $9.99. I was mainly sold on the Hot Cheetos and nacho cheese part. I figured it would make a good TikTok video too. You're welcome, my five followers on TikTok. Haha!I also got to nibble on my friend's carne asada taco and took a chomp out of the Sonoran dog. Good stuff all around. I would love to go back and try some of their other items like the fish taco and some quesatacos con consommé.The Mexican food here is pretty (M)excellent! Two thumbs up!

Came on a Sunday, only one man was working since it was kind of in between lunch and dinner. Ordered two burritos, Asada Fries, and Sonoran dog. Everything was very flavorful and fresh! The carne asada was very very good. The place was sparkling clean as well! The price felt fair for the amount of food and the quality. The only thing I felt was missing was a salsa bar, I didn't know I needed to order salsa while ordering my food. So I didn't get to try any salsa, but hopefully I can try them all the next time we crave some carne asada!

Food was delicious and service was very friendly. We just moved to Arizona and we've now eaten at this place 4 times in 2 weeks! Food was prepared to order and we left satisfied without the 'heavy' feeling sometimes associated with gorging on Mexican food Lol. Establishment was clean and we were greeted with smiles. We'll definitely be returning!

Very fresh produce on all of their dishes. Friendly staff - glad my grandson Mason recommended this for dinner tonight.
