Carbon & Salt Taco Shop

Happened by here by accident but glad we did. Tried the quesabirria taco, chicken, pastor, and carne. All very delicious, tender, and flavorful. Even the salsas at the salsa bar were hitting. Nothing too spicy, or watery, and all tasted good. Would definitely come back if I was in the area.

The Nacho's were delicious, crunchy chips, steak meats & condiments was really good. I appreciate that everything was in separate containers so it wasn't soggy when it was delivered. Believe it or not some restaurants aren't that considerate. I will be ordering again. I was so busy eating that I almost forgot to take a picture.

I was craving some lengua tacos, but I didn't want to drive super far. So of course I searched yelp for lengua tacos near me and to my surprise there was this little gem! I texted my oldest and asked if she wanted tacos for breakfast as it wasn't even noon yet!! When we walked in we were greeted and placed our orders. I got lengua tacos (of course) she got carne asada. They also gave us a small slide of beans for free. Everything was friendly and the prices were very reasonable! The tacos come naked but there is a fully stocked condiment bar that was cold and fresh. Everything was so good!! we'll definitely be back the restaurant was super clean and the vibes were great!!!!

We ordered the chicken tacos, and sycronizada with asada. Good flavors. We kicked it up a notch with sauces from the open bar of yum sides. But the best plate was the carbo fries with asada. So dang good!

Finally a new delicious, clean and great service taco shop! My friend and I ordered a shrimp, lengua and Anaheim with carne asada tacos and they were AMAZING!100% recommend

Tried this new taco shop at Greenway & 19th Ave. Nice interior, nice staff and one of the best shrimp tacos we've ever had! The pastor and asada tacos were also very good. They have a nice "accompaniment " bar with fresh items to add. Reminded of us of things they give you in Cabo at their better taco shops. Salsas were really good as well. Extremely clean in all areas.

Walked in at 8 it was dead to say the least.we were the only ones there. We were not greeted the person at the counter didn't say 1 word to us. The menu is basic and expensive for the food portion. Good salsa bar though. Ordered the Limon W/ Pepino water it was disappointing it tasted more like a Celery green juice. Tacos are almost $4 each not worth it. For the atmosphere especially the workers were really awkward and did not feel welcoming.

Ok, so I've been meaning to write a review for a while and take some pics to go along with it. But I'll just write the review & forgo the pics since every time I come here as soon as we get our food we start eating right away and the thought of taking any pictures goes out the window lol. We've been here quite a few times and their food is always really good it comes out hot and made to order. My favorite has been the chile con carne (which is a whole chile with melted cheese and your choice of meat on top a tortilla) it's a good sized portion. The shrimp tacos are another favorite (I usually order it w/o the mustard). The quesabirra tacos are also really good & it comes with the broth (aka consommé). A few new items they've added is the birria ramen which is a huge portion and the broth has a good flavor, also the flan has a really good coffee flavor. I also like that their drinks like the horchata, Jamaica and lemonade aren't watered down like at other places. Also, their salsa and condiment bar is a huge plus because you are able to put whatever you want and how much you want on your tacos. Everything is always kept really nice and clean too. The owners are super nice and friendly as well as the other people I've had the pleasure of talking to. Super excited for this new restaurant will definitely continue to come back!!
