AWESOME...I really don't need to say anymore.I am just mad that I just found out about this place.If you are in the mood for some Fried Food: Fried Chicken, Fish, Shrimp, then this is the place.The desserts are great also- Cheesecake, Banana Pudding, Red Velvet Cake... my Oh my.

Food was fried fresh, the seafood quality was good. Everything seasoned greatly, ambiance inside was fun as I was able to by snacks while waiting for food. Though wait time for meal took some time, I will be back.

Bomb food!! Seasoning is perfect!! Fried chicken gizzard meal with fries and coleslaw. Side pieces of fried rock fish! In the corner store, shop while you wait.

I got my meal Chicago style (drizzled in sauce) - that was a huge mistake. I don't know what the sauce was, but it wasn't for me and almost made the meal inedible. Ketchup + sweet and sour? Idk, it was hard to eat. I'd only suggest ordering it this way if you know what you're getting into, and maybe get it on the side instead of you're trying it for the first time. That being said I'd still eat here again without the sauce. Everything was fried perfectly! The fish tasted great and I loved the fried okra. The corn nuggets were a favorite and something I'll continue to crave. The banana pudding was just okay to me. I'll probably still order it if I'm craving it and don't feel like making my own since there aren't many places with banana pudding around SD.

I have always wanted to try this place. So yesterday May 30th I decided to bring my daughter and friend to try this place. I ordered the $8.99 special with cod and fries. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders. Her friend ordered the cat fish. It was one of the worst fish I have ever eaten. You couldn't put your fork in it. It was so tough. I wish I had taken a photo of it. The portions were like a kids meal. I wasted $30 for this stuff. I let it wouldn't have done any good to complain. The guy didn't seem to care one way or another about the customer. I will never return to this establishment.

Located inside of a liquor store.Staff is super friendly and helpful. Fish is fresh and cheaper than most places like imperial fish market. I got fish and shrimp combo.Unfortunately I didn't feel it was very well seasoned and while I asked for it to be fried hard my batter was falling off the fish and shrimp combo. The fries were a little soggy, but the coleslaw was good.Not sure I would come back to be honest. But that liquor store is amazing for drinks and snacks!

Tried this place by the other reviews, and yes it is a scuzzy little dive just past a fresh meat counter.It's incredible busy but the waits not too bad and it gave me time to browse the rest of the store, which is a liquor store btw.The food was definitely fresh but over cooked.Seasoned well and a decent size serving.Now while I'm not adding this to my " must eat at places" I will try it again if I'm near by.
