Total hole in the wall inside a liquor store. Javier was good, he answered questions. The food was good, didn't even make it home. Portion sizes was plenty. Ordered the Fish Combo with rock fish and jumbo shrimp and the chicken tenders.Both came with fries and a choice of either macaroni salad or coleslaw. Definitely will be back..

I really love the food here! I was hesitant to try at first but I'm glad we went because I can't stop thinking about it ever since! Great service here. They try to be very fast and are always so friendly. It's a little liquor store so there isn't space to hang out and eat but you can definitely find a fun drink or snack to go with your meal here! I highly recommend!!

I kept hearing about this place and finally tried it! You walk into a liquor store and start to smell the amazing aroma. There were people coming in and out ordering a lot of food so you know it's good! I got the gizzards, fried pickles, chicken, fries and Mac salad. Everything was great except the gizzards were pretty tough. I highly recommend and will come back again! Only thing they need is ranch and this place would be perfect. Only sauces they have are hot sauces

I asked for my fish, and chicken to fried hard, and it wasn't. It was seasoned good, but if it was fried hard it would've tasted better, and I asked for a corn muffin and I didn't receive it. I would give them another try in the future.

Delicious variety of combo platters that are crispy, hot , and fresh. Excellent menu and well versed staff members that prepare the combo plates with the utmost professionalism for every customer. The to go and pickup menu service is inside of a very well stocked marketplace that provides an array of items, good parking, and excellent customer service.

Great food. Excellent service. The 1lb Catfish Nuggets, Fries & Cole Slaw meal with an added side of fried Okra is my option 2 or 3 times a month. I share with my adult daughter who loves it as well. The Chef is friendly and fast. Being able to call in an order for pickup is a plus.

Absolutely delicious! Not only was everything I ordered excellent, you can tell the cook makes everything with love. I ordered the 7 Jumbo Shrimp combo and it was fried to perfection, light crispy batter, shrimp properly butterflied and crispy. My husband ordered the chicken tenders and the tenders was all chicken and no extra breading. Perfectly crispy outside and juicy chicken inside. He also got a side of hush puppies and they are hands down the best hush puppies I have ever tasted. 100x better than long John Silver for sure! My daughter got the buffalo party wings and she said the chicken was so flavorful and juicy and perfectly crispy skin that went with an extra side of buffalo sauce.The fries that went with all the meals were crispy on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. Perfectly cooked french fries. The guy who took my order was incredibly polite and generous with the sauces. Definitely coming here again. I see this place Will be a regular occurrence in the future take out to come

Looks like a hole in the wall Pleasantly surprised by the service, cleanliness, and quality for what you pay for Walked in about an hour to close and the chef was starting his side work to clean up. I asked if he was still cooking and he nodded and readily started to take my order.I got the cod fish and jumbo shrimp dinner with coleslaw and fries. It was so good! I'm going to try the catfish next time! The cornmeal was seasoned well and the food was not overly greased. He seasoned the fries with a special spice blend and it was so good!He made the food fresh with new batter and that speaks volumes with the taste when I got my order. While he was cooking, I walked around the mini mart and it was kept clean and organized and I bet it gets busier during the daytime.When I paid for the order, the chef said they've been there about 3 years and I said I'll have to come back soon to try the desserts they had!The food was bomb! Very well done and made with care. Did not taste old or overcooked.

Literally the best fried cat fish and wings I've ever had. Everything was crispy and fresh with lots of flavor. I got the catfish combo with 3 piece fried oysters and my partner got the 10 piece wings with onion rings . 10/10 highly recommend!!! Thank you so much it's been difficult finding a good fish fry place.

Visiting from out of town and arriving late into the city, we found a quick spot for fish & chips just minutes away from our hotel. We ordered two of the Fish Dinners: rock fish/cod and cod/cod, and each plate came with a side of fries. However, the sweet corn nuggets was the BEST addition to our meal! Very tasty Cole slaw and Mac salad, as well. Location was inside a convenience store, nice and well-mannered working staff, despite being close to closing. Watched the food be fried on the spot, and the employee was friendly while taking our orders.10/10 would recommend Captain Sams to our family and friends!
