Capricorn Cakes

I just had a blueberry cupcake from Capricorn Cakes, and I didn't even think to take a photo because I was so busy stuffing it in my face! I have been lucky enough to enjoy LOTS of cupcakes from Carrie over the years, and she never disappoints. She has impressive decorating skills that, as a baker myself, always knock me out. If you have a special dietary restriction, she can absolutely work within those bounds and not let it impact the flavor or quality of the cake. I appreciate her ability to make delicious cakes accessible to all!

I Had a birthday cake made by her in April, she did a fantastic job! I thought I wouldn't be getting a custom cake due to the pandemic, but she was so easy to work with, despite all the new hoops to jump through. She laid out every option available and even included delivery. When it arrived I couldn't have been happier! It was delicious, and as much as we tried it did not last long. We will be ordering again!

Carrie makes ordering a cake soooo easy! When I email she responds right away and all she needs are a few ideas of what you want, cake flavor choices and the delivery address and you're set! She made these beautiful cakes for my health care worker friends in May and delivered them to 2 north end locations, and then she delivered my son's birthday cake on a day before notice even then she usually needs a 9 day lead time for orders! They are beautiful cakes and my kids loved to eat the cake. Order from Carrie, she is so talented and great!

Gorgeous and delicious! These works of art are even better tasting than they look. Can't wait to try next month's flavor.

These cupcakes are incredible! I just had a Guinness Stout cupcake with a Bailey's buttercream frosting and it is just Devine! It has complex flavors that slowly reveal themselves as you savour each bite.Lots of options, friendly service and delicious flavors, I strongly recommend Capricorn Cakes!

I found Capricorn cakes when looking for a cake for my son's birthday and I really wanted to support a local small business. She made us a Death Star cake that was wonderful and dropped right on my doorstep the day of. And it is delicious! I would recommend her to anyone looking for cakes and will be ordering again for the next occasion--special or not! :)
