The Cap Hill Farmers Market is quite small but I still try to go and support the local farmers. Compared to the Ballard farmers market, it is much smaller and serves less hot food. I do prefer this over the Fremont Farmers market though, which is more like a flee market than a Farmer's market. I hope they try to amp it up a bit so more people come by.

I stumbled upon this farmers market as I was exploring Capitol Hill and I'm so happy I did! Even though it's really small, there is still a pretty big variety. I got some baby Dutch pancakes that literally made me stop in my tracks when I took a bite. I ended up getting the sweet variety, and it had homemade whipped cream, quince, and powdered sugar. At first I was skeptical since quince sounded weird, but oh my god it tasted amazing. I would go back just to eat those pancakes again. I also ended up buying some fresh burrata from this couple who were very helpful and welcoming. We had a conversation about what recipes I could make with the burrata and they offered me so many free cheese samples.I highly recommend going here for a date or if you just wanna people watch.
