Candor Coffee

During a recent visit to Candor Coffee, I indulged in a masala chai, hoping for a flavorful experience. Unfortunately, the chai fell short of expectations, lacking the distinctive taste I was anticipating. Despite this, the overall ambiance of the cafe and the efficient service left a positive impression.The ambiance at Candor Coffee is undoubtedly one of its strongest assets. The cozy yet modern decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a moment of solitude with a good book. The comfortable seating and ambient lighting contribute to a relaxed vibe that encourages patrons to linger.Service at Candor Coffee is another highlight. Despite the bustling environment, the staff efficiently attended to customers' needs, ensuring prompt service without compromising on quality. Their friendly demeanor and attentiveness added to the overall pleasant experience.However, the masala chai failed to deliver the bold flavors I associate with this traditional Indian beverage. While the presentation was aesthetically pleasing, the taste lacked the depth and spice that make masala chai a beloved choice for many.In conclusion, while Candor Coffee excels in ambiance and service, the masala chai fell short of expectations in terms of flavor. Despite this, the cafe remains a viable option for those seeking a comfortable setting and efficient service. Perhaps exploring other items on the menu would yield a more satisfying experience.

Cute coffee shop. Quick service. Lots of sitting areas. Food was warm and delicious. Will be back.

Brightly decorated weigh white airy cream color beachy/sand tones. Walked in feeling welcomed. Lots of tables and room to meet up or study. Lots of monstera plants. Good location on corner. Decided to go here because it was easier than getting to Starbucks for coffee. I ordered a small latte. Coffee was bitter and not very smooth. Would go again to meet and give it another try and order something else. Rate 3.5 star because coffee was not to my liking, but atmosphere 4plus

This is a great place in such a convenient location! Great coffee with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are wonderful as well. I just wish they had more food selections.

Second time visiting Candor!We ordered:-12 oz cold brew $5.50-12oz matcha latte $5.75-sausage breakfast sandwhich $6.85-bacon breakfast sandwich $6.70Cold brew was a bit off. Matcha was ok.Breakfast sandwiches were quite good. Piping hot. They are pre-made though, so staff just heats it up.Cool spot to catch up or get some work done. Easy parking in the lot.

This is only a review of their matcha, as I haven't tried their coffee. I did see they use Makeworth coffee beans, which is a great roaster in Bellingham. I've been following this place on Instagram for a long time and finally tried it since I was passing through Renton. The interior space is super cute and it was pretty packed inside. I got their seasonal strawberry matcha drink. You know that feeling when you immediately know a drink isn't going to be good because the color was wrong? Well, the matcha came out and it was a super pale shade of green, so I just knew it was going to be very milky. The strawberry flavor was interesting, but there was no matcha flavor and it tasted like sweet milk. The drink was almost $9 and it's always a bummer when I know I can make a better matcha at home. The baristas were all nice and the service was good.

Visited candor coffee for the first time, and I will definitely be back! I ordered a seasonal latte, which I think was a spiced fog latte. It was so yummy!They had a variety of coffees, tea, other cold drinks and pastries. Service was really good, the store seems very clean, and they have restrooms.A lot of people seem to be there to get some work done, meet up with friends, or just grab something to go.They also have free parking in their shared lot.

Great looking coffee shop in Renton, right by Ikea. Hopped on for a Friday for catching up with work, grabbed two lattes, and they were good. Lots of room to sit as well. They do have food and bakery options, cool place to hangout with friends.

I have been meaning to check out this place and heard several good things about it! I happened to be in the area and was in major need for caffeine! It was on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. It was a lively vibe yet I think it would be nice to hang out or work from one of these days; maybe on a slower day during the week :) Lots of seating options as well as outside too even though it was busy. For my first visit, I ordered from their daily specials menu and chose the Walnut de leche Matcha latte to go as I had some errands to run. The space near the front counter is a bit hectic as people are either in line or waiting for their items to be ready & the staff seem friendly enough yet there was a lot for them to be preparing and taking care of their customers. My drink was a little cold due to trying to figure out if it was mine or someone else's in the rush & not hearing a name go with it when it was ready...yet the latte not disappoint. If you are looking for a place to spend time or get something on the go, try checking them out! Id be interested to try out one of their pastries and grab some more coffee !

I came to candor for the first time yesterday and had to come back today. Yesterday I ordered the cold brew and a double shot of espresso on the side. I drink cold brew without milk or sugar, and it was very flavorful and light. The espresso was also amazing, and had very little bitterness and a lot of fruitiness, and floral notes. The service was great, and the inside of the store is very aesthetically pleasing, with a small but good selection of coffee beans to purchase. Today, I ordered their drip coffee and to no surprise, it's very good!
