First of all, what a cool concept! Camp West reminded me of Kings Hardware in Ballard minus the skee ball and the After School Special burger (IYKYK). Camp West has some really tasty cocktails and yummy burgers. We started with their Peri Peri Fried Cauliflower which has fried cauliflower, peri peri seasoning, and a side of lemon aioli. This came out piping hot, it was very tasty and the lemon aioli rounded the fried cauliflower and the peri peri seasoning. For meals I got the Camp West burger, which is a 6oz grass-fed patty, American cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and their camper sauce. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The tots were nice, hot, and crispy served with a side of ranch. My friend got the Crunchy Chicken Sammie, which has breaded chicken thigh, comeback sauce, pickles, iceberg lettuce, and onions. She wasn't a fan of the chicken sadly, said it tasted like it was previously frozen. Granted, I didn't have a bite but thought I should share her thoughts on this sandwich. We also got two cocktails, I got the La Di Da Di We Like To Toddy which is a hot beverage with rye, averna amaro, B&B (not sure what that is), house-made toddy mix, and lemon. It was perfect for a cold winter day. I forgot the cocktail my friend got but she enjoyed that. What got me though is the Stanley thermos (Pendelton edition no less) that was brought to our table filled with cold water! My friend thought it was mine because I always bring a stainless steel bottle wherever I go hahaha. When we got up to leave I almost swiped it because I often have a bottle of water with me hahahaha. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even comped my friend's chicken sandwich because she wasn't happy with it. They also have what they call "Happiest Hour" which is from open till 6 pm except when the street fair is going on. Overall, I really like this place and would like to try every single one of their signature cocktails.

The staff were truly incredible. Toni made the experience extra special. The space was not too busy when we first arrived, but picked up throughout time we spent. The food was fast and tasty. The space was a little dark, but was still light enough to read the menu.

If you're like me you may eye roll real (real) hard on first glance; as this PNW hipster themed restaurant seems grossly (grossly) PNW.You would THINK you would be served by a cliche too cool for school bearded hipster with wearing a flannel, giving you a menu lined IPA's, Tater Tots, and Pub Burgers. But what you are presented with is inspired cocktails and beautiful presented cuisine that seems very out of place (see above judgmental comment.). Like the speakeasy up the street this is a stealth establishment that teaches you quickly to not judge a book buy it's cover. - My bad business owner - my bad...Congratulations Seattle - West Seattle is relevant once again.

Camp West slaps, we came during prime time on a Saturday night and had an hour long wait, but it wasn't a big deal since we grabbed a drink at Supreme next door. They texted us when our table was ready and we're promptly seated and asked for drink orders when we arrived. The decor leans into the Camp theme the right amount, but not obnoxiously so.The prices are reasonable considering Seattle prices and the signature drinks were solid - we got Hot Toddy's (great) and Crockett To Me (just alright). We got the Totchos which were a good starter. While the tots got a little soggy it was in the interest of good flavor they had.The entrees were all super good as well. The Mushroom Cassoulet and Chicken & Dumplings in particular were standouts but the Mac & Cheese and Lumberjack Burger were solid.Overall, this is a unique welcome spot to West Seattle. Come by and check it out for come great prices, unique dining experience, and great food.

This was a super fun experience! My friends and I went to celebrate my thirtieth and enjoyed one of the best cocktails I've ever had (it was kind of like a smoky old fashioned), had some yummy entrees, and enjoyed the experienced of roasting marshmallows at our table for s'mores (we have a friend who is vegan and she brought her own marshmallows)! The service was quick and friendly and we loved all of the fun decor; make sure to look overhead to see the fake person sleeping in the hammock! Such a fun spot.

Purely based on the food, 3 stars. The vibe the place is very cute and outdoorsy... can even order s'mores for dessert. It's been a few weeks since I have been and all I can remember is that the totchos, the totes were not as warm / hot / crispy as I like so the toppings made them soggy right away. But I would say, give them a try because the vibe is so cool.

for those of us who for decades patronized west5, it was a sad day when they closed their doors. i will be transparent in my admission that i've never entered the new west5 incarnation, camp west, until today...and i'm coming back FOR SURE!five stars for the following reasons and more:*no pesky mosquitos*no obnoxious children screaming at high decibels through the campsite, ruining the ability to commune with nature*full-on camp vibes *no need for bear canistersthe reconfiguration is done well, fromthe overall ambiance, to the decor, to the menu and the camping themed specialty cocktails.i couldn't decide between them so had two different ones, the spicy mountainman and the airstream, both of which were very tasty! (and i was happy to see one of the bartenders from the west5 era still employed!)we also ordered some nibbles off the happiest hour menu: the periperi cauliflower and the totchos, both of which were very tasty and more than generous portions.this experience, from start to finish, is fun!camp west is 21+ but be prepared to have a very comfortable camp-like experience! the water comes in thermoses and the decor makes you feel like you're in a comfortable, woodsy setting, sans potentially dangerous wildlife.i had made a reservation for late fridayafternoon, simply because i wasn't sure how crowded it would be at the start of the weekend.and if our initial visit was any indication, i made another reservation for four weeks hence after we paid our bill so we can try more happiest hours menu items and food offerings in the not too distant future.this experience was a great start to the weekend and has me excited to be able to spread the word and take friends to camp west. west5 may no longer be an option but camp west is a very valid replacement that west seattleites should be proud to have as a local watering hole and relaxation spot in the heart of the junction.i left thinking, "what took me so damned long?!"

DON'T WALK... RUN TO CAMP WEST AND ORDER THIS IMMEDIATELY!! You could get the mushroom cassoulet, leave it at that, and still be great. Even as an omnivore, no doubt about that. But, instead of the suggested addition of smoked salmon (which I am sure is lovely), get a side of the shredded steak instead. For the same price. Plopped right on top. This was one of the top 5 favorite meals I've had in the last DECADE. $20 for this exquisite combination of flavor, texture, and just... EVERYTHING. Also, the Snackle Box was very nice. We will definitely be making the drive up from Tacoma many more times in the future!

Really great addition to WS. Staff was great, drinks were strong, food was also really good but not with the ticket amount some of them have. I'm hoping this is my last birthday post but you never know. I had dinner here with my favorite people and it was honestly so comfy and cozy minus my allergies making me run to the bathroom every 20 minutes. My friends order appetizer and we just all shared that. The cauliflower and totchos were bomb but the wings were a meh. Why is there only 5 wings on the plate haha, at least make it 6 or 8. Anyway, for entree everyone ordered a chicken burger or a smash burger except me. I decided to order the seafood risotto knowing I could always take it to go. A burger wouldnt be too good the next day. The risotta was pretty good nothing bad I could say about it . I'll definitely be back to try other food items as it looks like the menu does change here and there.

Great for drinks, overpriced for food. Pros: - Very cool theme with lots of seating and booths. Fun chill woodsy vibe, like hanging with friends at a camp site. - Tasty cocktails and good beer selection. - Friendly staff. Cons:- Food is overpriced with small portions. - Crunchy Chicken Sammie $17 ($15 + $2 charge for sauce) - Smash Burger $15 The meat portions were so tiny they were completely hidden by the bun. Looked and tasted straight off a fast food value menu. I got bites of nothing but bun. The sides of fries looked like a dollar menu small fry split across two plates. - Totchos $15 ($13 + $2 bacon) Tasty cheese sauce, but only a sprinkling (maybe a 1/2 piece of worth) of bacon.Fun to try and we'd be back for drinks, but not to eat. We spent almost $50 on food that was more stingy and underwhelming than a $5 Biggie Bag at Wendy's. Lesson learned, not doing that again.
