Camp Colvos Brewing

We were visiting Vashon Island and stopped by Camp Colvos for some beer and light lunch. The beer and service were fantastic! The vibe of the place was great as well. A good amount of indoor seating and large amount of partially covered outdoor seating. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food wasn't so great. We ordered the beef and chicken meat pies and were disappointed. The crust was good but the inside lacked flavor and they were on the small side. My daughter ordered the meatball sliders and they were just mediocre as well. The items on the menu are straightforward food fare and could be better with a few tweaks to the recipes. Beer = Great! Food = Not so Great

I love Camp Colvos in Tacoma, so of course I had to stop by here when visiting Vashon. The bartender was the nicest guy! He was super informative and let me sample different beers. I love the chill vibe and I could just sit here all day when the weather is nice (and probably when it's not ).

This place is great!! The food was amazing , my boyfriend and I ordered the Veggie pizza with added pepperoni, chicken garden salad and the meat pie. River was the person at the front and was super nice and friendly! They recommended the pie and my boyfriend was blown away. The lady running food was so nice as well! Lovely spot with outdoor fire pit thanks you guys!! :) btw the pizza was a 10! Perfect flavor and crust!

Legit brewery. Decent choices and yummy food. This was my second visit here. The previous time was a few years ago and I noticed this time the place had changed a bit. Larger inside counter space to order beer at. More choices too. Super friendly service and tasters freely given. I chose a western style IPA which was super tasty. My friend had a more hoppy tasting, higher octane IPA. We shared a beef style pot pie sandwich and an open face ham and cheese. Yummy!! Dog friendly patio. Nice vibe here. Looking forward to visiting again when I come back for an Island visit. Cheers. Happy Yelping.:-)

Great spot to grab a beer on draft and finger food! While there was no cider on tap, I enjoyed the bottled Dragon Head cider, it wasn't too sweet and paired well with the warm doughy pretzel. There's also Root Beer and a few non-alcoholic options as well. I wasn't a fan of the soggy tots. My brother-in-law enjoyed the pizza. Lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommend on Vashon Island!

Such a cool spot! We loved the fact that they're kid and dog friendly! We didn't have to leave anyone behind to enjoy beer and a great pizza!We had the pepperoni pizza, the tots with ranch dipping sauce (they were amazing!), I had an alcohol free beer because #pregnant and my husband had their Vienna Lager, it was a very enjoyable meal and we most definitely will be back if we're ever back on Vashon.

The atmosphere was definitely one of the highlights here. Even in the cold winter night, it was tempting to have our drinks outside. The warm lighting and great seating made it feel super welcoming and that feeling doesn't go away once your inside. The staff is super friendly and there (currently) is a nice warm Christmas lighting. They let us try a few samples but they were in tiny plastic cups which I have to imagine they go through tones of. I wanted to like the beer more than I did and that's the main reason it's not five stars. The beer was fine but not worth another glass. The hazy ipa was more hoppy than hazy unfortunately and that was the best of the samples we had. Still a great place to grab a beer but Washington's bar for breweries is so high that it's hard to give a five to.

Mukai Lager nice & lite. Guest tap from the island cidery, Dragon Head.Spinach pastie barely had any filling. Skimped on the pretzel bites portion. Took a while for the simple food. Service was the let down ~ negative vibes & no smiles when addressing customers is always a turn off. When guests inquired about the brews, there was no effort to upsell the brewery.Might be the largest outdoor seating for the town. Nevertheless plenty of picnic tables & some with sunbrellas. Right off the main street to enjoy watching the passerbys. Lots of pups lounging around.

This was a great lunch stop on our visit to the island. A spinach galette paired with their pale ale was a perfect match. We appreciated the extensive outdoor seating.

There was a local band when we stopped by. I loved their porter, tasty! The outdoor seating was great too! It's downtown and great to stop for a drink!
