We wanted to try a new place with a different menu, so we decided to make a reservation here. The staff were friendly and attentive, seating us promptly with our reservation. Our order included birria bao, roasted bone marrow, tacos, ceviche, and a baked potato dish. Although the food was pretty good, the appetizer portions felt a bit pricey. The overall experience was great--I loved the lively vibe and the impressive cocktail selection. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food(price and portion sizes).

This place is a hit or miss. It's definitely trendy and in an eclectic area (picture houses with people watching tv on their couches, and then half naked girls begging to be let in without a reservation). But we did have a great time! I took off one star because our reservation was at 9:30pm, but at 10pm it goes from a restaurant and tapas bar, to a full blown nightclub. And the table we were seated at became the bottle service area, so we had to be moved. Another negative is that it's partially outside, which brings with it things that also live outside. My friend had a slug climb up her leg, and you constantly had to pause conversation due to planes flying very low overhead. People also started fighting near our table, some guy was going around the room dry humping everyone, and it's hard to enjoy your drinks and food with all that going on.Not to mention that the food is overpriced, but on par with what you'd expect of SD. I ended up paying nearly $300 for 4 drinks, and maybe 6 tapas sized plates and one dessert. I will say that our server saved the day, giving us a free drink and appetizer for moving our seat. Overall I'm probably just too old to be going out anymore lol. I give it a 2.75/5

Came here for girls night! It's very cute inside. Ambiance was nice, and the server was really nice. But definitely a one & done for me. Food: 5/10It's mostly appetizers, very small dishes.. so don't expect to be full here, you'll probably have to get something else to eat afterwards. Cost: I felt like it was very expensive for what it was.. nothing was mind-blowing as far as food. We had 2 shots, and 2 rounds of drinks.. and possibly a hand full of dishes to share. Each girl ended up paying $130.. yikes. And we were still hungry.. lol But the hosted that they had yesterday was a straight up B! She had the worst attitude.. didn't greet us.. and just looked like she wasn't happy there. We had asked her to take a group photo for us, and she was not pleased by that. And we weren't being difficult or anything.. but once she handed us the phone back, she walked away with the most ugliest face. Wouldn't recommend this place.. not worth it.

I've seen this place all over Instagram, which if I'm being honest, I was worried because I thought it'd overhyped. You know, pretty but otherwise mediocre. Shame on me for being so skeptical, because the hype is real! It's a beautiful spot, reminiscent of a chic Tulum treehouse. We went to celebrate the spring cocktail menu, so while the cocktails were complimentary with a RSVP, we chose to get a table so we could order (and pay for) food. The Bomb Papi vodka cocktail is as gorgeous as it is delicious, dangerously so. I could easily spend an afternoon drinking several of these, and I probably will many times this summer. For food, we ordered: - Grilled Baja Shrimp Skewer - This is served with avo, pineapple salsa, radish, and cilantro + tortillas so you can make tacos. We easily made 4 with a few shrimp left over. The char and seasoning on the shrimp were on point. - Beef Salpicon - "Gordita Crunch" - Just as you'd imagine based on the name. Tasty but not as interesting as some of the other dishes. - Pork "Quesa Birria" Bao - When a cute bao bun and quesa birria get together they make this very scrumptious dish. So good, we ordered two -- my favorite savory bite of the night.- Corn Ice Cream - You've seen the pictures, but I'm telling you this is one of my favorite desserts in recent memory. Creamy, sweet, refreshing, and so cleverly presented (to look like a corn cob). Make sure you drag your spoon through the caramel and crumbles on the plate, though, for the perfect bite. We shared, but I wanted to keep this to myself. Also, I wish I had written down our server's name because she was EXCELLENT. And it was crazy busy and crowded because of the cocktail celebration. She checked on us frequently, was friendly, and fun, hitting nearly every table. Plus, the rest of the staff were on top of bringing and clearing plates, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. A+ on the hospitality aspect.Makes up for the parking. It's that area of Little Italy; there's nothing that can be done. Be patient. Don't succumb to those offensive parking lot fees. Pray to the parking gods and get you a free street spot like I did.

Service was great, and I really like the ambiance in this place. I just think it was overpriced for some of the smaller portions like the ceviche, and the duck barbacoa, (which was just *fine*) such a small portion for $40 was a bit of an eye roll. However, the rib eye that was nearly $100 was actually fucking delicious and fair for the size of that big boy. So maybe someone was just stingy with the fish and poultry that night. Shoutout to Marissa, our server, who was great the entire time.

Had the best time here! The place is beautiful and my friend was a regular so he knew everyone so it was cool to see how they not only treated him well as a repeat customer but worked hard to make us feel welcomed. The food and drinks were all amazing, can't wait to return!

COCTELES Y PARA LA MESA(4 stars)- FOOD/DRINKS: creative - PRICE: decent- SERVICE: very good- AMBIANCE: dim and intimate... I felt like I was sitting in a bar in the jungle (minus mosquitos)This place is very happening after 9PM! Arrived early, right before 8PM and it was empty'ish. Reservations highly recommended. Intimate space with a variety of sippies and shareable bites. The place can get loud as it is a place of gather but a chill gather where people are seated in their seats and not congregating any floor space and toppling over each other. Great place for cocktails!!! :: SIPPIES ::BOMB PAPI ($16) - Tito vodka, Aperol, prime hydration, pineapple, Gentian, lime. YUM! Came in a tall glass with a very inviting presentation. Remember those popsicles that are red, white, and blue call "Firecracker or Bomb Pop" well it tastes exactly like that. The description may not portray it but after the first sip, you'll rekindle that flavor with the popsicle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NANA VERDE ($16) - Condessa prickly pear gin, banana, ancho verde, lemon. MEH. I love me some prickly pear and banana so I'd thought this would be good. It was a gorgeous pretty cocktail but the layers of flavors were complex and interesting but also off put. I wish I reordered my first drink but wanted to 'explore' others. I guess the grass ain't always greener on the other side. :: BITES ::CRISPY FRIED BRUSSEL SPROUTS ($14) - lime, crema, salsa macha. This was what it was; Brussels sprouts either a creamy spicy sauce on top that reminded me of spicy mayo. Nothing special, felt as if this could be ordered at any other restaurant. It was size was perfect for shaving with another. I'll definitely be back for more cocktail exploring. However, Little Italy on a weekend night is so crowded with tough parking. If you didn't find free street parking, their is valet out front, if you don't want to do valet there is a paid parking lot close by we paid $30 for 2-10hrs ($25 for 0-2; might as well just pay for the $30 at this point). JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

Millennials and older know this building as El Camino... many nights that I both remember and hardly remember over the course of almost a decade. Now I had the pleasure of trying Camino Riviera! It's like the place grew up, just like me haha. It is now a beautiful fusion restaurant that makes you kinda feel like you're in Mexico. My best friend and I celebrated her birthday here. It's small dishes/tapas style so we ordered a full spread and shared everything: the taco (seabass), bone marrow with quesadillas, chorizo and potato cazuelita, pork quesa birria bao, beef Gordita crunch, creamed yucca, ceviche, Caesar salad, and Jamaicas to drink. To end the night, they delivered a birthday dessert and we ordered the corn ice cream. My favorite items would be:-the corn ice cream!!! First of all the presentation is a literal corn on the cob but it's yummy ice cream. Paired deliciously with the popcorn and corn flakes wow -the beef Gordita crunch because the texture of both the beef and the crunch-creamed yucca because it's almost just like mashed potatoes-seabass in the taco tasted great and it was juicy and flavorful.. not dry whatsoever Honorable mentions... I was starting to get too full to appreciate the full potential, but pretty good-birria bao -bone marrow with quesadillas-Caesar salad could've had more dressing but the croutons are phenomenal Least favorite was the ceviche. It was fresh and lovely presentation but I was very underwhelmed and felt like just sashimi. I would've traded that one out for something else Justin was our server and he was super friendly, attentive and gave a lot of detail about everything. We were checked up on frequently, as well as water refills. There was a cute postcard written "Happy Birthday" on the table when we arrived. Overall great experience

This place is adorable. The ambiance is definitely one of a kind. Love the disco balls & tropical feel of the interior. The food did not disappoint. I am too buzzed to write details but pretty much every single dish was on point including the bone marrow the duck even the chicken was one of the best most moist chicken we've ever had. The Caesar salad was on point and don't get me started on the croutons are stuffed with magic. I do wish the drink was a little bit stronger, but overall, I would definitely consider coming back for sure
