The "authentic" flavor of Camino has seemed to diminish over the years but the service has always been good at this location. The food was hot and came out quickly considering they had just opened on a Sunday. Not a bad spot to dine if you're looking for something filling and decent.

Tried this place out the other day for a late lunch and it was pretty empty. Got seated right away and food came out fairly quickly but the food really didn't have much flavor. The ground beef tacos had plenty of meat in them which was good but had zero flavor. My husband and I each got combos that came with a fairly good amount of food for the price. Might try something different next time before giving it a final decision.

Had crispy chicken tacos. Weren't very flavorful. It came with beans and rice. The beans were great. Also tried a margarita while I waited and it taste like sweet lime juice. Not very refreshing Seems like good Mexican food is hard to find in tn ;(

Very good food. Most Mexican restaurants taste about the same to me though. I don't recall anything really unique.

We've been in several times in the last two months since we moved to the area in addition to getting take out a few times and Camino Real is the Real deal! They check all the boxes... great service...check... delicious food and drinks...check... family friendly...check. Not to mention they are fast here! The chips and salsa are brought to your table as you're sitting down. Today our food came out less than 15 minutes after ordering tasting fresh and delicious like always. I'm pretty sure this is my husband's favorite restaurant and the Pollo Charro (spelling?) is his favorite thing on the menu. Prices are also very reasonable especially given the portion size. Just like all good restaurants in the area they do get pretty busy during peak times like Friday night.

Had lunch here several times in the last two months. Overall the food has been great. They have lunch specials posted on the dry erase board so be sure not to overlook. Lunch specials include a soft drink to pair with your meal. Chips and salsa are always on point. Their carry out service is worthy of mentioning as well. Additionally, you can ask about margaritas to go. Be prepared to call a few times as their lines do get very busy.

This place charges gourmet prices for soggy tacos swimming in queso. If you're into bland, overpriced dishes where everything tastes the same, this restaurant might just be your new favorite disappointment. The decor is nice.Service here is always hit or miss.Pick any other Mexican restaurant on that road and you'll be fine.

Horrible! The salsa wasn't the best. The steak was overcooked and had zero flavor. I felt like a true carnivore. I couldn't eat my food. The waiter acted like he was in a hurry and we felt rushed the entire time. When he brought my food out he wanted me to grab it when there was two people sitting next to me in the booth closest to him. Not really sure how I was suppose to reach that far and he kept saying hot plate... hot plate. Well excuse me sir.. what do you want me to do. I'll stick with the Camino on Cedar Glades from now on.

Got the enchiladas, chicken was practically saw dust it was so dry. The mole tasted burnt, and the service was so slow. By the time I got my first drink refill we were already ready for the check. The food is just not good, and neither is the service. Taco Bell is more authentic.
