Great little place where we grabbed drinks and pastries to go with our breakfast sandwiches from The Baked Cafe. It would be great if they were actually combined and not separate businesses as it's quite confusing where to line up, etc. Anyhow, the pastries were good. I think the almond croissant was my favorite of the three we got.

All the goodness of Lopez Island Ice Cream WITHOUT the drive to Conway.Even in February, it was nice to stop by for a scoop of local ice cream served in a fresh, handmade waffle cone. The only shame is it's a bit hidden and tucked away. All the better when it comes high season! This stand is a bit tricky to find in the parking lot close to the Camano Island Coffee Roasters.

I took my children for ice cream after dance class. The lovely lady at the counter talked to my children rather than "at them" as they placed their own orders. To me that speaks volumes. Now to the ice cream. What can I say? It was divine! My daughters mint chip wasn't artificially green and it was perfect (I had to quality check it of course). My coffee ice cream was made with Camano Island coffee and it was probably the best coffee ice cream ever. I cannot wait to go back. We are so happy to have this wonderful place right here on the island.

This is more than just ice cream! Camano Commons is a lovely place to visit, with a bakery, coffee and tea, a candy counter, an amazing gift shop, art gallery upstairs, and a burger and bread maker all in one fabulous location. The ice cream counter is closed during cold winter months but don't despair because you can get a fresh chocolate croissant, cinnamon roll to die for or one of many different fabulous scones (maple is my favorite) with indoor seating both upstairs and down. Looking for a hostess gift or nice souvenir of Camano? Look no further. It's my go to place to sit with my laptop and get a little writing done too. The vibe is relaxed and not too noisy. Don't be intimidated if there's a line. The service is prompt, and it's worth the wait. They open at 7am.

We do little day trips here to pick up Camano Island Coffee (their process ensures quality and prevents mold, this was discussed in a keto forum online). The roastery is next door but they sell the coffee within the marketplace. What's really nice is when you buy a 2lb bag, it comes with a card for a free coffee at the espresso bar. We'll buy a couple bags and then keep the cards for next time. When we come back, we get our drinks, buy more coffee, get more cards, repeat. There are a lot of items from various sellers and artists in the marketplace. I picked up a couple of gifts for friends here that were perfect. There are also pastries in the counter at the espresso bar, a case with chocolate truffles, and across from the espresso bar is a small shop selling bagels, bread, and breakfast sandwiches. It's a charming space to visit when in the area and everyone is very helpful, transactions feel more like small conversations on your way out.

Stopped in to get some ice cream. The gal working at the counter was super nice. She was talking to us and she was finishing up making some waffle cones. She gave my daughter some samples of the sorbets that she was debating on. My daughter decided on the sorbet and I got the camano island coffee. Both delicious but kind of on the spendy side for what you get. None the less, we would definitely go back!

Great little stop in your way to or out of CAMANO ISLAND, or just for a nice stop. Great gift shop, homemade chocolates, coffee shop with amazing pastries and great service, art work and Baked Cafe that sells bread, burgers, breakfast sandwiches... and a seasonal ice cream shop. Outside of the main building is Tapped & Primal BBQ restaurants, as well as an awesome houseplant shop called Cactus. The library and yoga studio are close too. Great stop!

Great ice cream from a local source. Have tried several flavors and they're all good. Definitely worth a stop. The person complaining about them not opening up again just for her AFTER they were closed is a delusional weirdo. That's why businesses have hours of operation...they aren't on-demand.
