Super cute large cabin vibe with a wait! We got in and put our name down then walked down to the beach area to wait for our table. We got the kids meals which were a good deal and lots of food. We also got the eggs benny which were solid and the corned beef hash (OK but wished they had the shredded hash versus the potato chunks). By the time we were ready for dessert most of the pastries were sold out so if you'd like any, purchase BEFORE your meal!

This was our first time here (and also my first time to Camano Island, in general). I was surprised to see that the location of the cafe was in the state park itself. With that said, make sure to bring your Discover Pass for parking. The food was great (check out my pics for more info), not to mention the ambiance of the restaurant. Reminded me of an old lodge or cabin style. Service was awesome too. My coffee was kept warm the whole meal. I highly recommend a visit if you're staying on the Island.

Wait to sit: 5 minsWait to order: 10 minsWait to get drinks: 15 minsWait to get first dish: 30 minsWait to get second dish (ordered together): 10 mins after first one, only when I asked for it. Don't get me wrong: it's really amazing to have a restaurant in the state park. It's really rare! You can't compare view to the water with view on some road. Food prices is really reasonable. I just don't get why everything is so slow. Outside view are gorgeous, but not when you hungry. Don't expect water while you are ordering or waiting for a tea. By the way, I like tea, but 30oz cup is way too large and heavy!Long waiting times for everything happened for the every table around us. I'm very surprised to see 5 star ratings here. Breakfast burrito with potato: potato came barely warm. Burrito was tasty, can't complaiBeets salad (GF): they forgot about it or I don't know. They served burrito first and asked - anything else? I said that I also ordered beets salad. The left, I don't know what it was. 10 mins later I asked our server about status of my beets sealed. They went to kitchen, took a salad, added dressing and gave it to me. What was that? Looks like their kitchen processes are broken. There is a mess.

Wow! Wow! And Wow again!! Location, views, amazing ambience, breakfast and lunch. Everything was delicious and they have all sorts of things made from scratch to purchase and take home. I had my first London Fog tea. It was a beautiful experience and delicious. We bought a chicken pot pie to take home and a couple slices of peach pie. The staff were friendly and very good at their job. It's above the beach and has rustic cabins for rent. Love everything!!

5 star for the location, 3 star for the food. This restaurant is inside the state park, it has beautiful view of the water which I absolutely love. Food is OK, we had the biscuits and gravvy, breakfast burrito and ham & cheddar scone. Nothing really stood out honestly.

(Food recs below) There's few places to eat out in the southwestern part of Camano Island, but Cama Beach Cafe is a lovely breakfast or lunch option at a reasonable price for holiday goers.During a summer weekend, put your name on the list and stroll the trails in the upper part of the park while you wait. Don't wander down the hill yet, or you'll show up for your meal covered in sweat.REUBEN SANDWICH: Tasty! I'd suggest salad as a side. The fresh greens and acidic pickle help to balance the richness of the sandwich.BISCUITS AND GRAVY: So good, but it's very rich - I'd balance it with something light, or be prepared for a nap on the beach afterwards.LEMONADE: Definitely recommend it with extra ice on a sunny day!
