Call Her Martina

Absolutely phenomenal food. Service was great, drinks were very good. The birria tacos with bone marrow add-on was not something I knew I needed in my life, but it's now one of my favorite dishes anywhere.The interior isn't huge, nice little ambiance and it's near Scottsdale Fashion Square.

A very well known taco chain sells their nachos for $9. Martina has a summer all day happy hour with birria nachos for $13. They were so delicious, along with the elote. And get the flan. Tables also get a tortilla with 3 salsas, all great and they are properly spicy. Service was very fast as well. Our server Armando was fantastic. Anyone is lucky to have his table. Lastly, the water is delicious and the bar stools all have high backs. Music is great and not too loud so you can have convo but still enjoy yourself.

This place reminds me of Toca Madera restaurant around the corner in a great way on a smaller scale. The ambience, food presentation, food selections, the cocktails were amazing. Service and our server were on point and amazing.The temperature and quality of the apps and entrees were perfect. The cocktails were different and delicious.I will definitely be coming back to try other items in the menu.

We came here for a quick meal but was so glad to find this place. The vibe is kind fun Mexican vibe and the food was very delicious.

I think I need to come back because I dined here back in December and it was not too memorable, but my boyfriend and his parents enjoy this restaurant, so I definitely want to give it another chance! It could be because I was not feeling too well this night, so I could not enjoy the food as much as normally would. First and foremost, the restaurant is so cute! I love the vibe and decor. It is actually a little misleading (or I just need to pay attention more) because one wall is a mirror, so it makes the restaurant look much larger than it actually is. Regardless, a lovely place indeed.I like that the chips for the chips and salsa weren't actually chips, but a crispy yet airy tostada. My boyfriend kept telling me how the guacamole + ribeye chicharron was amazing here, so we definitely had to order. It was probably one of my favorite things that we ordered! I was so excited about the street elotes, but it was underwhelming. The tuna ceviche was my second favorite thing. I love the addition of mango with seafood because it really elevates the dish and adds a nice, sweet flavor for balance. I got the tuna fresco tostada and I did not like it at all. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or the tuna itself, but the flavor was not appealing. I hope to come back because this place seems promising.

Absolute Classy Mexican character! Vibe is set by the welcoming staff! Easy to book reservations and adjust if needed. Gabriel was our server and he was the show! Attentive, personable and energetic! Celebrated a birthday and the dessert was the best with a huge candle flame that set off our dinner! A must see!

Ventured here a couple of weeks back. It is definitely an authentic Mexican vibe with some upscale ambience. The service was a little on the slower side but Happy Hour is a nice vibe. We were first served with some chips with this jalapeño aioli. Even though our mouths were burning we still wanted more. The nachos are a must. I went for the burrito while he went for the short rib and both the dishes did not disappoint. Definitely give this a try!

Walked along and found this place next to the Scottsdale fashion mall. Came in on a Wednesday around 630 and was not too busy. Nice vibes inside, casual but a bit party esque as well. Good for a night out with friends. Happy hour deals were nice. The drinks were good, but I personally wish there was a little bit more variety. Out waitress was nice, apps came out relatively quickly but main course did take a little longer. All the dishes we ordered had good flavor. Personally I actually liked the el jefe burro over the short rib dish. Glad we got to try this place and would recommend for anyone in the area that wanted to pop in

If you are debating if there are any good Mexican restaurants with authentic flavors anywhere in Arizona, this is the place. Service with our waitress Melo was prompt and she was an excellent server. With my family being from Latin American countries, it's hard to find a place that does Hispanic cuisine justice and "Call Her Martina" does just that. Tried the chingona margarita as a mocktail with tajin and the carne asada nachos which were amazing! Also found out that the cheese is prepared in house! Definitely worth coming back to.
