California Grill Tacos & Catering

I used California grill for catering for a work event. They catered tacos, chips, salsa, guac, and flavored waters. Tortillas were handmade onsite, guac was fresh, and all of the food was amazing. They were fantastic, professional, prompt, and we can't wait to use them again!

They helped me with a baby shower and were great from beginning to end. It was very easy to communicate with them, food was delicious and overall a great experience. I highly recommend them.

This place is awesome! The just catered a party we were at with over 100 people. They quickly got the food out and it was so delicious! I couldn't believe they were making fresh tortillas as well! Carne, adobada, fish tacos, and all home made salsa's. The horchata was incredible! Can't wait to use them for my next party.

We have used California Grill Tacos for numerous parties and gathering's these past few years. No complaints at all! The food is always fresh, authentic and delicious, the service is professional and accommodating! They provide everything you need with an abundant choice of salsas and toppings! The tortillas are seriously hand made right in front of you! The meat is juicy and flavorful not like at other parties I have been to where the meat can be dry. The aguas are so so so good! Horchata is freshly made not the concentrated stuff. The price is affordable especially with the rise of costs for everything now a days. We had lots to take home, they even pack everything up for you to take home! Just an overall easy, tasty, perfect choice for your party! I had many guests impressed and asking for their info. 5 stars I'm my book!

We hired California Grill for our son's graduation party and the food was a HIT! Pati was so friendly and communicated with me whenever I text her. We had the party catered for (50) people and she also provided a Horchata and a Watermelon Agua Fresca. Tita made homemade flour and corn tortillas and let me tell you; they were INCREDIBLE! They arrived on time and began setting up for our party start time. We also added the homemade churros and the party goers couldn't get enough of it. There was plenty of food for our guests and enough leftovers (thank goodness Bc the last thing I wanted was to run out of food) to make breakfast quesadillas the next day. We will definitely hired Pati and her team again. Thank you for the delicious food and experience

Very Friendly, quick to respond with a best price quote. Came to home on time. Set up and provided all plates utensils etc. Homemade tortillas and food were delicious and more than enough for our party of 30 people. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

They catered my Baja Animal Sanctuary Family Reunion today (12/3) and I can't say enough good things! The food was so fresh and delicious and everyone raved about it. I would use them again for any future occasions!

This company is one of the best that I've had the pleasure of enjoying at a friends party. Very nice authentic pleasant people representing the cultures food with time and devotion and passion into their food that they catered the party. So beautifully organized and prepared to perfection and hard working passionate people that deserve respect and a lot of business. The food was not only fresh and beautiful to my eyes but it was delicious I didn't know where to start first. Perfect touches with the moist in the meats and chickens and rice and everything they had in abundance. I had to have a taste of each main ingredients for tacos. And it was for sure Latin soul food. I recommend this company to anyone who cares about quality and passion from these kinds of hard working people. Very satisfied and honored to have the opportunity to eat such delicious food prepared by hard working people and that don't just cook but take pride in every dish they present to their customers. 5 stars for sure. Honestly.

This was a big hit at my baby shower. Unfortunately, they messed up on the waters. I ordered an horchata and a strawberry water which was really the only thing I had been craving and they brought horchata and Jamaica. I spoke to the younger lady and she said the order came with only one and was given another water as a complimentary. This frustrated me because it was a lie. I paid $600 for 60 people and the receipt she wrote out when we left a deposit said strawberry water. Anyway, tortillas are fresh handmade and food was great. I just didn't appreciate being lied to about the waters.

Food was great, service and professionalism? TERRIBLE, my event was at 2pm, they were suppose to arrive at 1 to prep for an hour, I had to call the owner Patricia to confirm if they were coming at the correct time, they showed up about 20min later, food wasn't ready until about 2:30,so my guests were forced to wait longer, then we find out, they cooked chicken instead of adobada, they tell me that it's what I ordered, I had to show them the texts when I placed the order for them to correct it. So adobada was ready even later than 2:30. They didn't bring any ice for the Jamaica water, so I had to provide them with some. The kid that later turned out to be the lady's son, took multiple bathroom breaks, they were both provided with drinks, food and even cake. This was apparently not enough for him because 20min after they packed up and his mom told me they were leaving, one of my guests calls me to tell me that the taco kid is asking for me, I walk over to the front of the house to find him standing there by the car, I asked what's the matter and he tells me "Hey so are going to tip me or not?" I have worked in the food industry for years and I have NEVER asked a customer for a tip. I tell him that i thought it was included in the price for the service, he then tries to guilt trip me by saying "Well yeah but more tip would help me to pay for my studies" and shrugs his shoulders at me. I again had to tell him no and he dramatically lifted his hands up, sighed and got in the car. To top it off, they left behind the pitcher they used for the water. After the tip incident I texted this info and the pitcher left behind to the owner Patricia, she apologizes alot but offers no resolution or any type of solution for me. She asks if she can send somebody to pick up the pitcher today, I said yes and ofcourse they never show up. I texted her again today to let her know I was going to put the pitcher outside because I can't wait around for them anymore. Her response? "Well that's effing rude of you" Rude? After all the bs they did?
