Cali Cream Homemade Ice Cream

Always a great place to stop for ice cream in Encinitas! Cali Cream has a gigantic menu of 55+ flavors. If you're reminded of Handel's, it's because it was previously a Handel's before they went indie.Like Handel's, Cali Cream is super generous with their single scoop. Unfortunately, you can't split the single scoop between two flavors and they don't have a smaller size. That said, it is a good excuse to eat a lot of ice cream! I get mine on the waffle cone and I think it's an even bigger portion!They are very patient and let you sample flavors without getting annoyed. I like their vanilla based flavors like apple pie and blueberry crumble. They have some outdoor seating. Or you could walk down to the beach a few block away and enjoy your ice cream there!

Website says it closes at 11pm. We showed up at 10:02pm and they said it's closed. We walked in and the door were still open. They said sorry we are closed. It's kind of odd cause you could scoop a thing of ice cream it's not like a restaurant.It's disappointing because we drove 15 minutes to come here each way based off the websites times. I feel they could have accommodated us....

Food (5/5 stars):Cali Cream is a great ice cream spot in Encinitas! It's very similar to Handel's as they have lots of the same flavors and the 4 scoop sampler, which we ordered! My favorite by far was the Graham Central Station. I wasn't too thrilled about the other ones we ordered (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Birthday Cake, and Faddy Daddy), but I'll be back to try more because the quality of their ice cream is amazing. Great spot if you are craving ice cream. They have a massive menu, and they give you very generous portions! Although the line can look long and intimidating, they are quick and efficient. This place is mainly just a storefront, however there are some tables out front that you can sit at while you enjoy your ice cream. Or walk over to the beach! Such a prime location for a fabulous ice cream shop!

We got an ice cream flight and we loved our 4 flavors! It was tasty, but nothing special. The service was great and they were helpful with the flight we got. The ambiance is great in the sense that it's close to the beach. We just took our ice cream there. If you're looking for ice cream and in the area, I would recommend.

I wanted to love everything about this place but it's a 4 star for me. Pros: Lots of flavors, LOTS. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of outdoor seating. Good ice cream. Pup cones are CUTE! Outdoor heaters. Cons: The sign outside is not updated, so we decided on flavors outside and then 1/2 went in to get it and most of the flavors didn't exist The heath flavor was just chocolate, no heath.

Fro0m the many places which have so many sweet treats and the many which are the gelatos and the homemade Ice Cream because with Ice Cream you can use with so many other deserts with the gooey Chocolate Brownies the ones that have the nuts. The many Ice creams can be considered as the home-made taste yet there are many that have artificial flavors and the many syrups which makes the many swirl flavors and those that have the strong bubblegum colors. With the many flavors that are served each day are made strictly home made with the many flavors which are all natural with real coffee and with real strawberries. The many memories of Ice Creams can bring you back to the state fairs and thy e carnival's you went to as a younger kid the many years that the Ice Cream desert has been around through the many European countries, and the countries of Western Europe from the country of Great Britain where the sweet treat had come from many years ago. Through the year the many fillers and the toppings which were added to the Chocolate Sauce with the Caramel Swirls with the many sweet fruit toppings of pineapples blueberries, with the greatest topping of the Cherry on top. Cali Creamer has taken Ice cream to a whole new level with the many flavors of homemade Ice Cream with some of the flavors to the Elvis Presley walnuts and peanut butter bananas. Cali Creamer has made Ice Cream and to have a great place outside to dine with friends and family, or to have that special date night after a great dinner enjoying Ice Cream with the person that you love. Ice cream is one food that has a way to people's heart and to have that effect to say I'm Sorry. This was our first time dining at Cali Cream. Alex helped us and he was awesome! The creamery offers 55 variety of flavors. The flavors rotate through the year with a rotation of around 200 flavors. We recommend the the 'Ice Cream Flight' which allows you to taste four small scoops of ice cream. You can sit outside by a fire heater. They also offer hot fudge and whipped cream on the side if you prefer. Customer service was patient wile we decided which samples we wanted, there's cool music playing in the background. It's a total ice cream vibe -- great for dates, family and solo adventures.

This is my second time visiting and it does not disappoint. The variety is unmatched, and the taste is delicious. We got the mix of cookies and cream and cookie dough. It was delicious. Will definitely be back.

It my first time here and I could say that this is my new favorite place for ice cream. The ice cream tastes amazing! And high quality. I tried twix and cookies and cream for samples both were delicious! But I ordered the praline pecan (taste like any other praline pecan) but the star of the show was the graham central station I have been hearing a lot about this flavor from cali cream and I finally tried it. It is my first time trying graham flavor thing but I get the hype. It super tasty and definitely worth the hype. Would I come back for this? For sure yes! When I first arrived the place was a little busy but the line moves fast. The servers are so kind, friendly, and always smiling which I appreciate a lot. They made my day. Also, I can't skip this but the place smells like fresh waffle cones I highly recommend the place and I will definitely be back again and again to try all the flavors they have on the menu, and next time I will be orde the waffle cone too!
