Cake Shop by LGO Hospitality

I did not pick up or dine in. The cake was a gift given for my husband's birthday so i can't comment on the ambiance or service. The cake we were gifted was frosted in chocolate butter cream and was vanilla confetti cake. It was very moist as is they used the sugar water to maintain moisture. The buttercream was incredibly subtle and had a great texture when cold. I know that's odd but I love frosting. Ha. While this was no where near my favorite cake O am giving it 4 stars because my husband was obsessed with it.

Big fan of all LGO baked goods. The croissants are second only to Essence down the road. Every baked good I've had is stellar. Eat in or take out. It's worth a stop. I look forward to ordering a cake sometime soon.

By no means do I want to overlook my previous review as looking back, I am proud of the creativity I put into that one, but 10+ years later and I just want to update to say that Cake Shop by LGO is still going strong!My absolute favorite cookie on the universe is the Vegan Apple Almond Cookie... Whenever I want a sweet treat, this is my go-to!My son's favorite is the baby Old Timer, my daughter's favorite is the strawberry pineapple macaron, and my husband likes it all but if he must choose, he'd say the Snickerdoodle.You can't go wrong with anything in the case... and gelato is always a winner too!Grateful for this sweet options in the 'hood!

I had the cookies and they were okay. I didn't feel like they knocked my socks off. Although they were atypical flavors, they don't have much of a selection for people allergic to peanuts. I think some of my friends would have liked to see regular chocolate chip.The service was good and quick.

Have ordered the Celebration cake a few times and it was good. But there has to be a better way to do pickup and the parking is horrible. I have given up and go to Nothing Bundt Cakes for those special occasion cakes for now.

Finally broke down and ordered one of their reindeer cakes for Christmas. The cake itself is decorated absolutely adorable. Sadly one of the reindeer antlers broke before we got home. They took nothing away from the taste of the cake. It was chocolate raspberry compote.I felt it was very delicious but their chocolate cake kind of reminded me of the texture of a cake pop if that makes sense.

I LOVE the bake shop! All their creations are beautiful. I went in for a last minute birthday cake and found the perfect one in a very short notice. Plus it was delicious!

Amazing cakes i am obsessed. I've been coming here for a few years now. The red velvet is my favorite cake . The perfect amount of sweetness.

We have ordered cakes off the menu 1-2x a year from LGO since they opened, but this was the first year we chose to request a custom cake. This cake exceeded our expectations - I was so happy/surprised when I first saw it that I may have teared up a bit! Thank you to the LGO hospitality staff for such a beautiful addition to our party that tasted amazing as well.
