We hosted a private event at the SoDo tasting room and would recommend it for a casual gathering of any kind. The hostess/server was very pleasant and really helped make the evening a success. The wines were very nice as well. I think my favorite was the Cinsault, but the others held their own as well. Many thanks for a lovely evening. My only suggestion for them would be that in the future, don't suggest ordering catering from Nine Pies next door, specifically the appetizer platters. They were absolutely underwhelming for the exorbitant price paid. Take a hard pass on that.

We have been wine club members in Chelan for a few years and were so happy when they opened a satellite location over here! Their barn in chelan is of course my fav, but living in western wa I'm glad there are events we can go to as club members on this side of the mountains as well. We find Cairdeas to be consistent with quality releases without completely breaking the bank. My recommendations are the Tri, Concrete Syrah, and the Nellie Mae.

I stopped their tasting room here and the tastings weren't necessarily my faves. I do like some of their reds, but they weren't what I tried. It was a warm day and the umbrellas were not set up, so we hurried through our tasting and moved down to get some pizza. It's sort of a fun grouping in that area so I will connect again.

For the purpose of full disclosure, I am a wine club member here. Have reviewed the Manson location and am a little surprised no one has reviewed the Seattle location yet. I actually cancelled my Browne Cellars membership to add this one. Both make excellent wines but the edge and price point favors Cairdeas. Have been here several times and have w(h)ined that there was no chocolate offerings. Came in today and voila...chocolate! Had the tasting and ordered the "salted toffee & the hazelnut crisp" chocolate bars. Now I judge virtually EVERYTHING by its ability to be consumed with chocolate, wine especially. The tasting was their Counoise , Caislean an Papa and Grenache. Discovered that with both the Counoise and the Grenache Noir. The dark chocolate made the wines pop and taste better but both wines made the milk chocolate taste better. I'm typically a milk chocolate junky but actually preferred the dark chocolate pairing. Would be interested to see if I'm alone in my assessment. Pairing aside, this is a very inviting and comfortable experience. Outdoor tables available but my visit was a bit too hot for al fresco. Several wine tasting spots at the location but Cairdeas easily the best. Bathroom is a shared situation but immaculate, a must in my world. Their "Tri," was not on the tasting list but my favorite. Always get a bottle to go.
