"Irish" sports bar. Some interesting beer/cider choices like peach cider and some typical Irish staples like corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie and Guinness.

Popped in for a quick bite prior to a high school game at Memorial stadium. Loved the casual vibe (seat yourself), attentive service and flavorful apps. The goods stuff: I'm not typically a cocktail drinker but the wine selection was no bueno. Thank goodness bc I had the most delicious Pink drink. Not too sweet, very refreshing and pretty. Hubs had their margarita and it was equally delicious. Hummus with veggies and grilled pita- it's weird to gush how delicious hummus is but it really was tasty! I liked the grilled pita, too!Chorizo nachos - just the right amount to share, just the right amount of toppings, love the big dollop of guac. Wish we could have stayed longer and tried more dishes. It was filling up as we were finishing, a good sign Our server was also the bartender. He was friendly, fast and made sure our drinks were not too sweet. Perfection!

About a month ago, we found this spot in walking distance of our hotel. We had planned on going there to meet w/ a large group of friends and family on a Sunday night after the Live Aloha Festival. There were a few people there when we arrived. We found lots of room towards the back pool table area. The set up of the place is nice, food was decent, the servers kept taking orders and bringing us food and drinks. There are lots of TVs if you're going to watch a game or 2 w/ a few people. Lots of street parking is available. However, the remarks from one of the bartenders was way off from the beginning for us.Our initial order of food and drinks, we asked Kyle if we could have a separate tab, because there were going to be a lot of us and didn't want a big mess later trying to figure who ordered what etc. He denied us of that, so my cousins couldn't ask for the same. We were all under one giant tab. There were 2 other servers taking orders etc. they were all off on what they were out of and not because we were still charged on things after they said they were out of specific tequilas when we went thru the bill. The bill came out too $900+ between 25-30 of us, and Kyle said we owed $400+ in tips. We weren't happy he was insisting on us tipping 1/2 the cost of our bill. I get that they may not have been prepared staff wise for a random large group on a Sunday night. We stopped ordering when he basically told us they were out of glasses because we used them all. Needless to say, we won't be visiting again.

The food was ok and reasonably priced. The service wasn't the best and one of the waiters was kind of snippy probably cause it was very busy. We started off with one server and she never came back and another server brought us our food. We had to flag down someone to bring us the bill. They won't even bring you water since there is a water station which is fine but that it was strange for such a big establishment. Great atmosphere to watch games since they have lots of TVs to watch games so I will definitely be back to watch games and that's about it. Most of the food looked really good when they were serving the other tables their food. We just got burgers and a salad. You'll have to pay extra for extra toppings on your salad though. We paid extra for feta for a Mediterranean salad which was odd. The salad was good. Burgers were average but I feel like more fries could've been served. I didn't walk away full that is for sure.

I desperately want to love it, because I live in the neighborhood and the location/space is perfect, but this place just keeps failing me. the servers are all great and they have all the standard drinks, but the food is simply atrocious -- bar food is easy and they completely miss the mark. they also play the most trash music -- think Creed radio on Pandora. I've tried to go back time and time again, hoping the menu/food will be better, but it hasn't improved.

Shrimp ceviche was delicious! Nachos were salty AF. Drinks were super weak. Customer service was not cool. Maybe it was an off day. Maybe they only like locals. Won't go back.

It was our first trip to Seattle so the family could perform at the Hawaiian festival. After a long week, and the end of the performance, we wanted to go relax, eat, and drink. So we came across this place because it was close to the hotel. But I truly regret picking this place. We arrived with about 10 of us right before Sunday night football and went to the back-pool table area. This is when buddy Kyle with his bears jersey comes up (after 10 mins of us waiting for anyone), begins to take our orders, and we tell him from the start, SEPARATE tabs. He said no worries; I'll fix it for you later because "I have a computer." Arrogant from the start. So as the night went on we had more and more family and friends show up. Everyone begins to order drinks and food. They don't separate anyone bills. This went on the entire time. We also had people buying drinks at the bar, but the drinks were still getting put on this group tab. So when it came down to pay the TABS, it all came out on one giant tab of $960+. We were in total shock. When the two cousins talked to buddy Kyle, he was disrespectful, and shrugged off the fact that we asked him to do this from the beginning!!! Then he got an attitude because he knew he was wrong. As we are trying to settle up (doing his job) one cousin had kept an itemized tab herself in her phone, she went to pay a portion of the tab, and he over charged her for items, and did not want to provide a receipt, and put a tip of $78 on her portion of the tab that she paid. And as I'm making my payment towards this tab, old Buddy Kyle still not apologizing for causing this mess, is swiping my card continuing to tell us we are just paying the bill and gratuity is not included! Like really, what happened to I have a computer?! Also, come to find out, he told the other female cousins, we needed to pay $400 in tip, after her already charged a $78 gratuity on a portion of the tab. So $478 in tip, on a $960 bill??? Are you serious!! If you went to any restaurant to eat, and after your meal got your bill with the entire restaurant's bill on there, and were told figure it out by the server while he stands by the register, you would be pissed off! There's no way that would ever happen. But when you find out that the bill got padded, and shots that were PAID for at the bar magically appear on this group bill, after you've paid this tab, you would be very upset. Double charging for the same drinks. Without our group in the bar that night, you had maybe 10 other people the entire time, and this is how you chose to treat us? Trying to play people because you think they're drunk. So in closing, find a different bar to hang out and have a good time. This bar isn't it. FIRE shady ass Kyle.Big shot out to the girl bringing our items out, you were awesome, and the only reason for the one star

We came to Cairde for my friend's birthday and they accommodated at least 40+ people concurrently (probably 60+ throughout the entire night), provided top tier service, and created an unforgettable night. It was Friday so there was karaoke and KJ Chris was also amazing. Highly recommend this establishment for food, drinks, or celebrations of any kind. Don't drop in though (see my edit) and email or call ahead of time to arrange a large party. Being prepared and having open communication is key to planning and executing events that are positive for both staff serving and patrons attending. For instance, I communicated with Martha, almost a month in advance, to set up a birthday party that would be one for the ages. We emailed back and forth and eventually had a call to finalize details, one of which, was moving the time of the event itself. They were extremely welcoming and ensured that we had all that we needed. She also told me that there was a concert that night in the area (Modest Mouse) which I would have been unaware of and learning that helped me plan parking accordingly. In short, my friend had a blast and it would not have been possible without the help of Cairde.Edit: I read some one star reviews mostly all from the same group going on a Sunday night with 30-40 people which the restaurant wasn't expecting that were posted about a year ago. They complained about someone named Kyle specifically. After my incredible experience with my massive group of 40+ and which grew as the night went on, I felt the need to give Cairde the benefit of a doubt and also point out potential factors as to why their experience contrasted so greatly with mine.Very few restaurants would be prepared for a group of that size coming in on a Sunday randomly. As mentioned earlier, I reached out to Cairde almost a month in advance to set up this birthday party and everything went so smoothly because of our ongoing communication and mutual respect for one another. As someone who frequently organizes large gatherings, I've learned through experience that it's always beneficial to everyone to have advance notice. In the past, if a restaurant can't accommodate all of my guests, we split up and call it a night. It would be on me as the organizer to find a place that can accommodate everyone and if I cannot, it's because I didn't plan efficiently.Based on the reviews, it sounds like they initially started out with 10 people and then invited 20-30 more as the night went on. I don't know if they made the staff aware of more people coming but regardless, never in a million years would I descend upon a restaurant with 30+ people dropping in without talking to the staff well ahead of time to ensure that everyone is prepared. A large volume of people may require more staff to work that night or even have the kitchen open later than it would be (which is what they did for us) and again while Kyle could have done better serving their giant, unexpected group, Kyle is not 100% at fault here but based on what they said, he didn't follow your instructions of separating the tab. That's a valid concern to have but to have three people from their party take the time to review their one experience? I'd say one disparaging review is enough but go off I guess. Review bombing, in addition to their ill preparedness, is indicative of what kind of patrons or lack thereof, they are. In reference to their reviews, they had a week to figure out their food situation and I'm sure the festival was exhausting but maybe try to plan a little bit better next time instead of taking a situation destined for failure from the start, getting on a high horse, and ranting into the void of Yelp. That being said, I too, am yelling into the void so whoever is reading this, just know that my experience was phenomenal and all restaurants will have off nights. Sadly, reviews posted here are usually negative and the positive experiences are left unwritten. Perhaps people find it cathartic to vent online when they could go to therapy instead. That's why I yell positively into the void to celebrate all of my good experiences as well as the bad. You can read my bad reviews too because I'm blunt when I'm thankful and blunt when I'm disappointed.People will share when they get bad service to attempt to warn others, so why not share equally as often when they get great service? What they ranted about would have been a difficult situation for most restaurants and some likely wouldn't have even attempted to randomly service 30+ people dropping in on a Sunday night. Look at the ratio of reviews. The abundance of one stars are lengthy reviews from that group which I believe is an inaccurate representation of the service this establishment provides and provided for me. I'll see if my friends want to give some good reviews too since they all had a wonderful time.I digress and I digest. Take all reviews, positive and negative, with a grain of salt.

It was a very nice sports bar! Was visiting from Oklahoma and they put on the Bedlam game for us even though there were only two of us!The bartenders were super cool and approachable, and they looked like they have regulars which is always a good sign. Finally, the food is better than just typical bar food. Had the crab dip and it was phenomenal. 10/10 would visit again!
