Caffe Positano - Village

Coffee is always fresh. Coffee beans are roasted over the weekend, so the coffee is always fresh. In addition, their croissants are made every morning and offer at least 3 different choices besides just a plane croissant.

Love love love this place! It's a cute little shop right down the street from my house and the drink are always good! I usually get vanilla lattes or a matcha. My favorite part is they aren't too sweet. They also sell muffins and sandwiches but my favorite is their giant chocolate chip cookie!it's about the size of a small plate and is perfectly chewy. I get one every time I stop by. The reason this got a 4 and not a 5 is because sometimes the staff is MIA throughout the times they say they are open. I think this is because they bake their goods in a separate building and have to walk back and forth.

The owner is "Top Notch" and has a passion for both the business aspect and the product. He is both a Gentleman and a businessman who cares deeply about his associates and his customers. It is refreshing to have these values within someone who exudes confidence and is not egotistical. I am impressed on all aspects of this business. The Service is excellent. The food is Great. The location is purposeful and excellent for shopping and relaxing. I was on a vacation/business trip and this is a gem. I recommend stopping in for a cup of coffee or espresso.

Ordered one of the croissants because it sounded good as we were walking around exploring a bit. In my 42 years, I have never had a more disgusting pastry. It was either the ham and cheese or turkey and swiss or something similar. I am seeing a lot of bad reviews about the service. The service wasn't terribly bad. But the croissants! Mine was clearly several days old, was cold, and was never offered to be warmed up.I dislike posting bad reviews but this is to help you beware. Just get the coffee!

Never been in this part of Rancho Santa Fe and decided to stop here for coffee because I didn't know where else to go. I think I ordered a caffe mocha which was good but the service was cold. The cashier seemed so annoyed that i ordered something and had zero intention in having a conversation. When I went to pay, he seemed even more annoyed because I wasn't sure how to use the terminal. 4 stars for the coffee itself and 3 stars for the person making the coffee trying to cut the tension. Just an FYI, there was nothing said that started the situation, I walked up and asked for a Caffe Mocha and he was just ice cold.

Love this little gem in downtown RsF. Coffee, espressos, Capps. Small thru large with fresh muffins and the yummiest pastries. Croissants, chocolate ones, cream cheese, cream cheese with blueberries, or apple or strawberry. Or try them filled with ham and cheese. They have a couple different savory filled ones. Table at the front, order and go. No seating or going inside due to covid. But still fantastic..

I got a strawberry banana smoothie. It kind of tasted like strawberry, and banana. Just felt it was very watered down, and not very flavorful for sure.

Tried his AMAZING BLENDS after meeting and talking with the owner yesterday. He recommended two of his top blends and I'll be back!! My new coffee supplier!!!!
