The best weekday lunch place. Its a shame its tucked so deep within Century Square that no one even sees them. It's one of the few solid lunch places Downtown post-pandemic for savory/spicy. Owner is super nice too! Highly recommend.

Cafe Zumzum is my favorite restaurant in Seattle, and I'm so glad they got a chance to move and reopen! Their food is as delicious as ever, and with a more comfortable space to eat in, I wish I could go every day! Hearty meals and warm (garlic) naan is to die for, and Cafe Zumzum delivers.

I don't know looking at my last review why I dinged a star--years later and I keep going back! Food is delicious, service is friendly and quick, and prices are reasonable particularly for the location.

I wanted some Indian food and this was in the radar so decided to check it out. This place's focus is on the lunch crowd as they are only open between 11-3pm Monday through Friday. They have pretty quick services.I ordered the vegetarian daily special as well as a side of the spinach and lamb curry. Price to portion ratio was pretty good. Between the two curry, I definitely like the vegetarian one better as it wasn't as salty as the lamb. Although the lamb side seem small, but it was so filling as they packed the container. I wouldn't say this as traditional Indian food I'm use to but it was still decent. Service was quick and the girl who helped me was very nice. Definitely will try their other curries when I'm in the area

WOW! I had the most amazing lunch from Cafe Zum Zum today!!! I ordered the Vegetarian Daily Special with green lentils and it was SOOOO FLAVORFUL! It was well spiced and had such a nice heat. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Lamb and Spinach Curry and that was also great! My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this place now (and we're not even vegetarian). I'll be coming back soon!!!

I love this place so much. Been eating there since the late 80s, followed them through 3 location, including the brand new one in the food court under Century Plaza downtown, across from Westlake Center. Really nice ambiance, I like it!The curries are richly flavored, mouthwatering. My go-to is a half-lamb, half split garbanzo plate, but I always make an exception for the brown lentils that frequent the Specials menu. My better half swears by the chicken with garbanzos. And they have plenty of vegetarian options! Honestly, just the rice (buttery and simmered with tiny veggies and light seasoning) is so good that I could just eat that and be happy.Very generous portions. And a staff so friendly you just want to come back. Go now. Go often. Your belly will be full of happiness.

Love Cafe Zum Zum! Reminds me of the lunch rush in NYC or London, the "regulars" all have the secret Zum Zum language down and the newbs standing and watching, trying to rehearse their order before it's their turn at the counter. Every downtown worker in the area has their favorite order. The split plate with half garbanzo beans and half lamb curry over half spinach half rice is my go to. I pick up a mint sauce and a fountain drink at the end of the counter. The girl at the register already knows my order, and likely the order of each person behind me by either sheer memory or acute listening skills. I would like to add that despite having a favorite order or a "usual", the Specials board is often very tempting and does not disappoint. I've strayed numerous times and have always been so happy I did. The naan is fluffy, the food is hot and comforting and the busy bustling ambience of Zum Zum is a nice break from the fluorescent lights and computer screens.*I have not been since Covid. It seems business is as usual based on other reviews, albeit minus the line of people that often flows out the door. A must eat place, still!

The best curry and lentil soup I've ever had. Legendary. If you know any other place with food that tastes like this hit me up I'd love to hear of it.

OMG, an Indo-Pakistani place in Century Square. How did I miss this for the past year.Need to know: enter off 3rd Ave or 4th Ave, ample tables and chairs available in common seating area. Generous tasty servings. Plenty for lunch and plenty for lunch pt 2 or next day. Pleasant owner who loves his food and his customers. I am really hesitant with most Indian places because I have little tolerance for spice. Think Ben Stiller in Along Came Polly. This place is flavorful with a bit of heat that doesn't set my mouth on fire. The Owner said I'd like the lamb more than the chicken and he was right. The lamb was tender and *magnificent.* The chicken was still very good, but that LAMB! I think there's also a vegetarian option or three as well. Last detail: LUNCH in Seattle for less than $15! Protect this place at all costs!
