I must admit it has been a few years since we've been to Cafe Turko, but the prices were incredibly high for the same food as 3 years ago. Being charged $4 for a tiny plate of sliced cucumber/carrots to go with an appetizer along with another $4 each for tiny plates of pita is over the top. We still didn't have enough pita / veggies to eat with the $29 Orient Express Appetizer plate (5 small portions of various options). I would really love to see the pita bread at least come with the appetizer. The service was lovely as usual and fortunately was able to give us a refill on our tiny glass of sage tea at no extra cost ...already $6 per glass. I don't think we will be back because it was over $200 before tip For 4 people. Large appetizer, 3 sage teas, 1 orange blossom tea, 4 meals and 2 desserts. We used to love going to Cafe Turko, but the $$$$ is a barrier at this point for what you get.

It's been five years since I visited this restaurant and I can't say enough about this place in Fremont. The atmosphere while eating here is quite lovely. The interior design makes me want to look around and be at awe with the colors, glass, and umbrellas. The food tasted wonderful as I remembered. This round, I wanted to try out one entree through a fellow yelper's review: Falafel My Way Plate and one pida entree, which my friend and I decided to go with Karışık pide (which contain a good amount of meat). To go along with our food, we ordered Arnold in Türkiye, which is half lemonade, half Turkish black tea. The drink was quite refreshing as it was not too sweet and goes along with the carb-focused entrees. The Falafel My Way Plate is a type of dish where all different food component combined makes every bite really enjoyable. Make sure to grab a little bit of rice, a bit of crispy falafel bonbon with hummus, and veggies on your spoon. The pide was great choice too with the amount of meat and cheese for two people. Also, the crust is thin enough to consume as well! Through catching up with my friend and when the food arrived at our table, I felt like it didn't take that long. Seeing everyone being helped around us shows the good service, especially during dinner time. If you're ever in the area, definitely stop by here and go explore around this area afterwards!

The food is okay, not fantastic but still good. A little bit on the expensive side for what it is. You can find better middle eastern food in Seattle for the price. However, the food is pretty, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service great. The yogurt drink was something I've never tried before and I didn't expect it to be salty! My friend loved it though - I do appreciate how they have unique items on the menu!

Price: $$, ~$50 for twoFavorites: Beef beyti, aromatic lambTip: Ask for hot sauce, it goes well with spice! The food and experience here are simply magical. Walking past an actual piece of the Berlin Wall into an elegant space, complete with ornate umbrellas cascading from the ceiling, sets the scene for an appetizing adventure into warm, soulful Turkish cuisine. The staff was kind, pointing out recommendations and clarifying how things would taste. My friend was visiting from Hawaii and neither of us had tried Turkish food. I'm glad we could share a comforting foray into delectable entrees that left us content. The beyti is rightfully famous. The lavash wraps with tender doner meat and gooey cheese are delightful finger food. Adding a dip into spicy and yogurt sauces only heightens the already tantalizing flavors. But the star for me was the aromatic lamb, with its sweet apricots that beautifully offset the rich spices and nuts. Lamb is my favorite protein across many cuisines and that continues to be the case after my first foray into Turkish food.Fremont is a museum of cultural delicacies and Café Turko paints a delicious part of the mosaic.

Went back again last weekend for dinner and tried some other interesting items. Eggplant Beyti, the rose mocktail and ordered everything else from the previous time. Food was as good as the first time. We managed to snag a table on a Saturday evening! Service is quick and courteous. You get a free tea for check-in and the Turkish music and vibes is just fantastic. Don't mind the long drive to eat the most amazing mezze. Highly recommend!

Ambiance (3/5) - Liked the set up. Turkish Vibes. Food (3.5) - Ordered Ali Nazik Chicken with rice and salad and Beyti chicken. I highly recommend the Ali Nazik, the chicken was very tender, juicy, seasoned well and perfectly complimented the eggplant sauce. The salad dressing was very good as well. however the rice seemed to be undercooked and not seasoned well Beyti Chicken was a little bit dry for me. however, the chicken was tender and juicyI will definitely go back for Ali Nazik Chicken

I've eaten here twice now. The interior design is so beautiful. I love how open and light the space is. The drinks are beautiful and everything was delicious. The servers were also very kind and attentive. The rose mocktail was especially good and they have so many different yummy hummuses.

Disclaimer: Had this at a party, so I didn't pay. They had falafel, rice, chicken, and eggplant. I came to the party not all that hungry, but once I had some of the chicken I couldn't help going back again and again for more. The eggplant dish was also quite good, as was the rice. The falafel was okay, but I think it also suffered most from being colder.Overall I would definitely go to the restaurant to try more of their dishes! Very tasty.

Super delicious and vibey cafe up in Fremont! I love love the mezze dips they had. They are so bright and colorful, and each one is a unique flavor. They have a few options and each one has 5 - 6 dips to share. The main course I had was good, but I was mainly impressed by the appetizer dips. I don't think I would go back for the mains, but would just go to sit, have a coffee or sweet treat, and some dips to share! The ambiance is really vibrant and colorful. This is definitely a fun spot to share with friends!
