Cafe Rumba

Finally stopped by here after driving by for years!So Good! We really enjoyed it!Had a great conversation with the owner about my food allergies and they were very accommodating. We enjoyed a chicken burrito and a loaded quesadilla! Both were excellent.

I've been going here for over 9 years, Jose has been here for just as long as I can remember and have been so nice and so dedicated to this place!! everytime I'm in town, I make it a point to go to this place, there is simply nothing like it!

Came here tonight after an event at fletcher park with my husband. I ordered takeout over the phone. It was ready right on time! Cute haha feel in here and it's clean, wasn't busy at all. I ordered the chips, salsa, and queso and a veggie burrito with no sour cream, with black beans and the mango salsa. The burrito was super bland. I don't think they use any spices on their beans or rice. All of the salsa was concentrated on one half of the burrito and I was a little disappointed that we paid extra for it, it was just ok. The chips and salsa were yummy, I had the red salsa. The queso is not bad, not the best I've had but velveeta-y type queso just isn't my fave. Good amount of food, I had plenty of chips left over with salsa and queso. Don't think I'd come again though!

They have lunch specials from 11:00am-4:00pm. I don't know if it changes from day to day but when we were there, it was a small burrito, fries, chips & salsa, and a small drink for $9.05. First off, the fries aren't actually fries; they're more like cinnamon chips. My cronies and I all felt that the chips and salsa were horrible. I had a baja quesadilla (I wasn't aware that adding carne asada adds $2.49 to this) and two tacos. It cost $19.24 (includes taxes). The shredded beef tasted stale and dry which made the tacos not that good. The carne asada in the quesadilla was at least good. But overall, my stomach was not happy with my choice of coming here. The only other good thing about this place was that the service was amiable.

We were sad when the Mesa location closed several years ago, but we're thrilled when we discovered a location in Glendale. Thought it's quite a drive from Mesa, we've enjoyed planning a trip over just to enjoy the awesome meal at one of our favorite places. I love the Rumba Salsa, with the fresh cooked tortilla lining the bowl and filled with fresh, crisp lettuces and choice of meat (I like the pork) and choice of salsas and dressings. You choose items as you watch from across the glass counter as your meal is prepared. Staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. I've always found the restaurant to be clean and inviting. As I'm writing this, I'm already looking forward to a return visit! For me, it's well worth the trip!

we love picking up food from here, every one is sooo nice. we were missing 2 pizzas from our order and realized when we got back to work. the manager/owner/employee was amazing and drove it to us. when we went into the restaurant we were greeted kindly as well. the dining room was super clean. amazing service and food

Fresh fantastic Mexican food. We've been eating at cafe rumba for years and not once have we left disappointed. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

Food is amazing! I like the chips and salsa. Love that it's not chunky and full of cilantro leaves. We eat here at least twice a month!

Consistently delicious food every time, friendly staff that recognizes regulars, a great spot for a quick, local meal that will not disappoint! I will gladly skip the chains to support local businesses.

I love the chicken Baja tacos with the Baja sauce! They also have a delicious watermelon drink!! The refried beans are delicious!
