Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

The entrance to this location has a person that is going in and out of the restaurant begging. And he's pretty mean when you don't have cash. He really wants Cafe Rio and nothing else. Each person he sees is being asked for money. Most of us don't carry cash, and when you don't have the money, he gets very upset. I decided not to come in to purchase food. Headed to Taco Bell! If you let him stay as you are doing -you will lose more business. Good luck.

It's so obviously a chain created by a hedge fund in Boston or somewhere even farther away from the Southwest. Easily the most expensive fast food place that I have ever been to, a meal and small drink for (x2) people costing around $40-50.

Keep your hands and feet in the moving vehicle at all times and bring some extra napkins. This place is fast, clean , friendly and packed. Got here before the crowd but but it was slammed packed before I finished my burro. And about the burro, delicious, prepped in front of you and they answer any question. Everyone is hustling in this place and it was really clean. Give them a try, it's a little bit more then other burrito places but it's really good. Now I think I need to walk this off. Cheers!

Cafe Rio is decent counter service Mexican with a wide range of selections (salads, tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, quesadillas, etc). The pulled chicken is good, I don't think the pollo asado is worth the upcharge. Skip the tostada and go for the salad for a more generous portion at a similar price point. Chips are average, the queso here has a bell pepper flavor I don't prefer, but the salsa is excellent. The restaurant is spacious with big tables that can accommodate larger groups.

Fast food takes on Mexican food. Overall decent food however it is not as good as other competitive options in the neighborhood. The server was plating our food but was not proactive too. He was murmuring and we could hardly hear what he is trying to ask. You can almost immediately get your food here like Chipotle and it tastes decent. They do have many options to choose from too. I would not mind going here occasionally but definitely not my favorite food.

Food is only correct when you watch them make it in front of you. Anytime we order for pickup something is missing. We ordered a salad, which barely had lettuce, and a quesadilla. They both come with guacamole and we got it with neither. This location is extremely subpar compared to others.

Good service and friendly staff. Got lots of selection refreshing drinks. My kids love their seasoned rice.

Food and service were phenomenal! Food was fresh, made in front us in a very efficient way. Our 9yo son went back and ordered another nino quesadilla and they were wonderful with him! Will definitely be back!

This is the worst Cafe Rio I have been to. This is the 3rd time in a row I have had a bad experience. The last 3 times, the order had been messed up. Today, they forgot an entire quesadilla and did not cut the regular quesadilla. This was also 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up time.

Horrible service, horrible people. I was having trouble using my app and the women barely spoke english and when she did she was extremely rude. I speak Spanish and the lady was saying very rude and inappropriate things in spanish that you shouldn't be calling a customer. Then proceeded to make my food in a horrible fashion. Never going there again and i encourage others to not as well. Get some new respectful staff.
