Cafe Luna

Decided to make our first trip to Vashon Island on a Tuesday. Alot of the eateries are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were hungry and so we decided to try Cafe Luna. They were absolutely jammed with orders, but everyone was extremely nice. I had the turkey Panini and my partner had the grilled tuna. Both plates were absolutely wonderful as they came with a side of chips and a pickle. We just sat here and took our time eating and can't wait to come back! Thank you for making our first experience for eating on Vashon Island a good one!

Very cute coffee shop in the heart of Vashon Island. Got my standard soy latte which was on point. The decor is really cool and has a retro vibe. The barista was super friendly and funny. Located right next to where a farmer's market was at, I was able to walk there and check it out right after having my morning coffee.

all food is so tempting! i got the mushroom quiche and an americano . enjoyed hanging out while my daughter worked.

Love this spot!! Clearly a community favorite as it is bustling with locals. Offers a good amount of food and drinks with a bunch of cozy indoor and outdoor seating. I got the blue velvet and the zucchini bread, both of which were delish!! Staff were super sweet and accommodating to my many questions and needs. Close to downtown and an adorable spot. Will come back soon!

Great consistent spot on the Island! That being said, there are a few dishes that are consistently delicious - the Reuben (the mushroom version is great, but the meat one is my favorite sandwich here) and any of the espresso drinks. The staff are personable, the Wi-Fi is good, and the noise level is pretty low. So grab your coffee beverage of choice, sit down, and work away. And if you're still there at lunchtime, get the Reuben. And take half of it home, because it's a big sandwich and you'll want that other half later.

Dirty, poor service, staff unwelcoming, food bad, waited 45 minutes, turned out they forget my order, made no apologies and didn't make the food, and I had to leave hungry for ferry

The service was excellent and the owner and Haley were so fun. Mushroom Swiss quiche and spicy chai latte. The crust was flaky and the quiche was so savory delicious. The chai latte was made with oat milk and just the perfect spice blend. The restaurant is very accommodating to any guest request with alternative dairy options. Great place to stop to relax or grab a quick option to go.

Came here on Saturday, June 8th. My family ordered from another place but I had taken a peek inside while in store next door & saw some yummy treats in the case! I ordered the greek salad ( pre-packaged) and a yummy flat bread type of savory baked with puff pastry crust. I have no idea what was on there but even cold, it was delicious!!! The salad had tangy large chunks of crumbly feta. The vinaigrette was also perfect! I sat outside with my family and ate on a bench- balancing my food on my lap- still a delightful lunch!

Been away from Vashon for 13 years. Cafe Luna was always rude, marginal food. Pretencious service w no reasons why. So after 13 years I've returned w my big girl pittie, so warmly welcomed by everyone. Except for Cafe Luna. Still the same nasty attitude w no reason to back it up. Go to Snapdragon, go anywhere except this place unless you like being treated poorly. Some things don't change. Cafe Luna is a joke. Thank you to the rest of Vashon for the warm welcome and the new faces and businesses that get it. Is there zero stars ?

Definitely recommend. Excellent espresso drinks, an equally wonderful tea selection, and darn food homemade pastries (including some gluten free). The barista was lovely -- happily rocking to music while taking care of us.
