This place is genuinely my favorite cafe in the surrounding area. The customer service is always fast and friendly, and the vibe is really comfortable especially when it's less busy. I love eating in here when I get the chance. My favorite and only food I've gotten here is their lox bagel on a jalapeño cheddar bagel which was recommended by my dad. I'm really picky when it comes to my bagels with lox but it's seriously perfect every time, and they really pile the lox on there. Their coffee is also delicious and has a perfect strength which holds up to any syrups you put in it. I loved the hazelnut syrup I tried today more than my usual caramel. Please give this place a try! I recommend coming on a weekday in the afternoon when they're not as busy (if you're trying to eat there) but they still move quickly during a rush.

i've come to this coffee shop a handful of times over the past year. i love the interior and vibes inside. the drinks are yummy, especially the matcha. my go to sandwich is the lox bagel. today we ordered the lox bagel on an everything bagel and the turkey sandwich. it took over 20 minutes for our sandwich's. the shop is usually always busy because it's popular so a wait was expected. but i watched multiple orders be made while my bagel was sitting in the warmer. literally other bagels and breads were warmed and fell on top of mine and they were all made while mine sat there. the turkey sandwich was good. the crust of the bread was so toasted it felt like it was going to cut gums. the lox bagel was its usual yummy self. i will definitely return to this shop and hope to never experience such slow service again.

Cute hidden gem of a coffee shop. Service was quick, but a little hectic. I also recognize it was a busy day and the space is very small. The staff are very kind and gave great recommendations! The black bean burger was very tasty and the fruit smoothie was perfect for a hot day. My only advice is do not expect to get a table unless you are really lucky. We waited and found a perfect table. Overall: Tasty and affordable!

This is my first time coming here & will definitely be back! I came here with my daughter who recommended this location. Everyone is friendly & told us options of what we could get with our sandwiches. For instance I decided on pasta instead of chips. Both our coffees & sandwiches were delicious. My coffee was so good I said to my daughter it had to be the best I ever had. The shop is smaller with counters along the windows to eat at & outdoor tables too. There was a good flow of people, but never saw a line.

Small coffee shop with eccentric decorations: bright colors, paintings on the tables, and interesting artwork on all the walls. I really wish there were free WiFi here to do work, but there isn'tWhat we ordered:Chicken pesto sandwich: huge portion. The sandwich is okay, but the pasta was very bland. Maybe I'll try another side next time :)Latte: standardA cool place to hang out briefly. I might try other items on the menu next time

By far one of my favorite coffee shops in the Pilsen area. For starters, I highly appreciate their reality of the current economy. Prices are extremely affordable for food and drinks. I was so surprised to see that a Lox Bagel was under 10$. The cheapest I've seen in the city so far! The bagel was delicious and the salmon was extremely fresh. There are so many coffees and drinks that I wanted to try, but I opted for the latte with caramel and my friend had the Thai iced coffee. The latte was smooth and delicious but the Thai coffee gave us diabetes. A little less sugar would more than perfect it! The shop is slightly on the smaller side, so you might have a bit of trouble finding a table if it's busy, but the food and drinks more than make up for it. It's gives "art student hangout spot" but in an extremely comforting way (if you know what I mean). The art on the walls are magnificent! I couldn't stop taking pictures. Great ambiance! Highly recommend!

Very cool space, it's been here for a long time so it must mean I just have not found the right drink for me. I want to love this place since its close to me but I feel like the drinks are always inconsistent. I havent tried the food so I can't comment on how it tastes.

Cafe Jumping Bean is a local coffee shop that embodies the neighborhood vibe of Pilsen. It's not trying to be Starbucks (nor should it) and the staff know its regulars by name. There are a variety of different coffee drinks, baked goods, and some food to choose from. The interior is pretty small so you're likely to order and get moving to your destination. The lattes are on the sweeter side, but not overly so. The staff ask if you want sugar in some drinks like cafe con leche. I liked the sweetness of the matcha latte, but I know that's not for everyone.I wish there were more local coffee shops like Cafe Jumping Bean. Friendly, reasonably priced, and an embodiment of the neighborhood.

Heads up, if you come on a Sunday morning, the line will be to the door which you know is a good sign. This was my first time here and was overwhelmed with how large their menu is but I got their golden latte (which I think has butterscotch) and got it with less sugar since I read many reviews that their lattes are really sweet. It was super delicious and I tried my friends matcha and that was also delicious. There isn't much room to sit but would be a great WFH location.
