I was staying at a nearby hotel and was craving some Tikka masala. Nothing special about the decor. Service was okay. Decent size portions. Nothing that makes it outstanding but a good meal

I am so glad I tried their buffet. I tried a little bit of everything and it was so good. Some Indian buffets have watered down low quality curry, but not this place. The curry's were thick and rich with flavor. Some days they have pakoras, tandori chicken, and some days they have lamb skewers (they change curry's often to keep it exciting). I really really love dipping their naan and pakoras into their green and tamarind chutneys. They also have rice pudding and mango mousse, so delicious!

One of my go to places for indian food in Lynnwood.I usually get the butter chicken or chicken tikka masala , aloo palak , chicken/lamb biryani ,garlic naan and gulab jamun for dessert. They have a big selection of food to pick from the menu and vegetarian options as well. Also the bathrooms are so clean every time I've went so that's a plus. The service is good. The server we usually get is very attentive and kind. He also offered complimentary chai at the end of our meal which shows the extra kindness they show here.

Always passing by this restaurant. And today decided to stop by for a quick dinner. Good amount of sitting area for small & large groups.The restaurant is on the main road with its own parking space. Even on a weekday the place was busy. Service was good & friendly. We ordered their:-Vegetable platter:- The star appetizer was the melt in the mouth paneer pakora, nothing else worth mentioning.Karahi paneer:- Generally on the dry side but served here as a gravy curry, well no complains. Yummy. Comes with a side of rice.Aloo Naan:- OMG, what did I have. Crisp with all over pieces of potato and a hint of smokiness from the tandoor. DeliciousOverall, Yummy Indian food. Will be back soon to try some more. The only con was the quantity served in front of the price

Decent food, and they can accommodate larger parties!I came here with my extended family for Diwali, and they were able to accommodate us despite there being over 12 of us (I do recommend calling beforehand). Our server was relatively attentive and took our orders throughout the meal. He also brought out several jugs of water so that we wouldn't run out.I wouldn't be able to list every single thing we ordered, but there was quite a lot - from samosas to paneer tikka masala to garlic naan and tandoor chicken. Every single dish was extremely flavorful, and they were able to accommodate so that the dishes by the children were considerably milder. The chicken was slightly dry, however, so I recommend simply getting it as a curry.Towards the end, they even brought out some ice cream for the kids! It was an unexpected treat that they absolutely loved.Overall, I really liked the food and casual atmosphere. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Lynnwood!

The food is a huge improvement over that of the previous management! The channa masala was perfectly cooked, the flavors blending exquisitely. The butter chicken was delicious, the paneer was delightfully fresh and squeaky. Best of all was the naan! This was the BEST naan I've ever eaten! Pillowy soft, easy to fold, wrap a bite, and dip into the abundant and delicious sauces. It made me wish I had more room in my stomach just so I could keep sinking my teeth into its toothsome deliciousness. I absolutely recommend this place. Great job, new management! We will be back.

Cafe India was our go to place for 20 years, even having a Brit national visit, he thought it was proper from what he had back home. Alas, those days are gone and now their tamarind sauce tastes like BBQ and the mint sauce like guacamole. They couldn't make a mango lasse to save their lives.RIP Cafe India.

Cafe India was our family groups long time favorite for many, many years. We tended to patronize the buffet and liked all of the choices. The food was original and fresh. Unfortunately, something changed and the whole operation slipped. The restaurant was neglected and dirty. There were food spatters on the walls, hardened and crusty; that attracked insect infestation!The management did nothing! The conditions were cringe and creepy. We were sad to turn our backs on an old favorite. We wanted our old reliable establishment back in place. Didn't happen!The staff also changed. It was clear that they were not at all concerned about the deplorable conditions. Dealing with them about concerns was uncomfortable, and best ignored.Our group tried an alternative Indian cuisine restaurant, but there was little enthusiasm for the place. Neither Indian restaurant measured up for a repeat visit.We will continue to look for the flavors of India in a clean comfortable and affordable dining experience.Fellow Yelpers, any suggestions in Snohomish County or North Seattle?
