Cafe de Anza

I originally thought this was a cafe for only employees, but it is open to the public! Found free parking easily. The architecture is beautiful. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. They have outlets for those wondering. Their coffee may not be artisan level, but if you like simple espresso drinks and a quiet place to do work or study, this is the place! They do close earlier than most cafes (2:00 pm) so just keep that in mind. I'm glad I found this hidden spot.

I will say that all the stars are actually for the location and the set up of this place beautiful seating decoration and set up, but I would say this is more like a marketplace. Think of an elevated 7-Eleven and quality of food was just OK.I just under seven dollars I got four potato wedges and it was quite dry and the flavor was not really there. I will say I want to try this place out because it looks so inviting and welcoming. If you come here just don't have high expectations for food I hear the drinks are also just OK so overall it's worth , the ambience and the service was nice. Overall the food made it lose the stars.

I've been to this establishment twice and both times I didn't really have a good experience with the food. The first time I went I got the shrimp ceviche. I waited 15 minutes or so for the shrimp to cook but it was still raw. I asked for more citrus juice to cook the shrimp, but it still didn't cook. Guess some pieces were just cut too big. This time I got the burrito bowl and asked for the flat iron steak but the meat felt gritty and more like a meat substitute. It was seasoned well but needed salt. The portion size was good and the overall flavor was okay.The location was clean and had a relaxing feel. Staff was friendly.

Decided to stop by since it's close to my work. Very cute, comfortable place. There is a ton of indoor and outdoor seating available. Not a huge menu, but it still has a good variety of food available. Some affordable, others not as much. I think it's fun that they have specials throughout the month. For August, it's National Sammich Month, so they have specialty sammiches every week. They definitely take their time here, so be cautious in case you only have a certain amount of time for lunch. Very friendly staff. I have tried a few things from here recently. First was the Bonsai smoothie. Very bland, muddled flavor. No ingredient really stood out. Secondly, I had the specialty sammich of the week: BLAT with garlic aioli. I was pretty disappointed since I asked for no tomatoes and the aioli on the side, but neither of those happened. They gave a lot of bacon, but not enough avocado for sure. The sammich was okay. The fries were the only part I truly truly enjoyed. The last item I've tried is the Turkey Avocado Sammich. Very similar to the first sammich I had, but with turkey. Again, nothing special about the sammich itself. The turkey was weirdly slimey and I didn't enjoy chewing it because of that. Fries were still my favorite part although they could provide more than they do. All in all, decent place especially being close to work. Unfortunately, there are better places near work at the same distance. None as cozy as this one though. So some pros, some cons.

Super cute lil spot located in this business park. My friends and I were confused at first if this was only open to employees in that area. However as you walk in, it's super chill to order and grab a seat. The decor was suuper cute, seating was nice, and the bathrooms are beautiful!! LOLFor my drink, I ordered a chai latte and it was pretty good. It was your standard chai latte. I'll need to try the coffee! The overall impression I got though was that place is more for the vibe though? I tried my friends breakfast burrito n it was ok!

Great little place. Can be confusing finding. Look for the chairs outside. You will be glad you found this place. Good food and great coffee. When it's warm out they open the windows up and it'll be easier to see. Don't miss out on this place

This cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of Mira Mesa. The Bacon Cheddar Burger was well seasoned, moist, and absolutely delicious. Happy Hour Nachos was the best I've ever had. Ceviche was fresh and super yummy. If you are looking for a location to have an intimate date or a get-together with coworkers and friends, Cafe De Anza is the place to be!

I work in the area and come here often for coffee and lunch. The employees are super nice and very attentive. For coffee, they serve bird rock coffee and also have seasonal coffee specials that are very good. For lunch I usually order the carnitas bowl. The serving is large and the salsa is fresh. I definitely recommend to any one working in the area or passing by for lunch!

This place has a nice look , BUT, the food is HORRIBLE. Even the coffee is the worst I've ever had.

Food was delicious and the workers are amazing! More people need to know about this place! Great place to have a quick lunch with friends and their happy hour!! Don't get me started! The decor is very stylish, I love the bohemian vibes. 10/10 recommend!
