Only got their Vietnamese iced coffee but it was nothing short of exceptional. The strong, rich coffee was perfectly balanced with the creamy sweetness of condensed milk. The presentation was impeccable, served in a boba cup. The servers behind the counter were super helpful and kind. The boba shop itself was sort of cramped with some nice decor on the inside. If you like coffee, defintely should stop by!

Taro smoothie tastes like whole milk with taro. Probably half and half or heavy cream. I did not like it much, and I even ordered less sweet and air was still very sweet! Wayyyyy too thick. You could probably churn it and turn it into ice cream.Ambience is cute, feels like Christmas. They have a very large menu. I guess I'd be back but jaho does a much better smoothie.Worth a whole star deduction: something tasted really off with either the aloe or the litchi jelly. It was almost bitter or sour? Like they didn't sweeten the aloe or something started to go bad? I made it half way through the drink before I gave up.

Cool assortment of drinks and such gracious service! The environment and decor are very pleasant as well, whether you are enjoying your dessert/snacks indoors or outside on the charming patio.

Cafe Darq is a dessert/boba shop in Chinatown in Boston. It's one of the only dessert shops open "late" in the area. There's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. It's very aesthetic inside and is a great to take someone here on a casual date. The baristas were super nice and they made great recommendations on what to eat/drink. My friend got a fresh mango milk tea with coconut milk and I got the tiramisu. The tea wasn't too sweet and the tiramisu was a great post dinner sweet treat. I'd definitely go back to try other desserts/teas!

I've been to this boba spot twice during my visits. I've gotten lucky and gotten myself some tasty drinks. The Vietnamese coffee is hella strong and sweet, would have liked it less strong. My husband's lychee green tea was super duper sweet, I don't think he adjusted the sweetness. I LOVED the jasmine green milk tea, I swapped out for oat milk, boba was perfect. You can skip the dragonfruit smoothie, my sister said it was way too sweet, too much condensed milk and coconut. Also very expensive boba drinks IMO, like $7-8 before tax and tip... wow! Super nice interior, could totally be a cute hangout spot.

Great small cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating (plenty of room to do with too). I came here to try out the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was strong and flavorful. However, it would have been even better with an extra tablespoon of condensed milk for those of us with a slight sweet tooth. Next time I will have to come back and try their other drinks!

I loved the dragonfruit smoothie. I added boba and it was very good. I have also had the dumplings and they were good for a cafe like this. Definitely recommend the pork over the vegetable dumpling.

The drinks were eh. The food above is not from the place, as a disclaimer. Vietnamese coffee with foam (5/10): I've had better. As someone who's Vietnamese, this was not strong at all, just tasted like a latte with condensed milk. Also, there was very little foam, and it was served in a cup where you couldn't scoop or taste the foam on its own because it was sealed. In Vietnam, you usually sip the foam first and then drink at it with the coffee after. Just wasn't doing the drink justice.Yuenyeung (6/10): I'm not sure if it's because I'm not used to the drink, so I won't comment on the quality. I didn't really love it, though, because it was promised that coffee was in it too, but it didn't really come through. Beautiful place, wonderful for pictures and to chat. It took a while for us to get served because there was only one person working at the time we were there, but she was very helpful and kind.
