I have had the pleasure of experiencing the lunch buffet and dine-in option and both were really great for me! At the buffet, service was minimal but that is to be expected. For the dine-in option, the service was pretty typical of a usual restaurant. It can be a pretty quiet restaurant for the most part, unless people are talking or there is music playing. There were a lot of good options at the lunch buffet; I really enjoyed the Chicken Biryani. As for the dine-in option, I feel like you can never go wrong with Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. I also love Pani Puri, so I am really glad that Cafe Bombay has this on their menu! Lastly, the Mango Lassi was super smooth and tasty.

Before the pandemic, whenever I craved Indian food, I used to be a regular at Cafe Bombay, especially for its buffet. Priced around $12, the buffet was a fantastic deal, offering a wide variety of meat and vegetable entrees that satisfied my cravings every time. The flavors never disappointed even when I opted for a la carte. On my most recent visit, I indulged in a selection of dishes: Garlic Naan ($4.25), Lamb Rogan Josh ($16.95), Goat Biryani ($16.95), and Vegetable Samosas ($5.50). The samosas, served two to an order, were filled with spiced mashed potatoes and green peas. Unlike many fried versions I've had elsewhere, these were baked, giving them a lighter, healthier quality. They were accompanied by a tangy tamarind chutney that added a delightful depth to each bite. Both entrees were equally impressive. The Lamb Rogan Josh was mild yet rich, with a blend of spices that complemented the tender meat. The Goat Biryani was a standout, as well! I personally think Cafe Bombay is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to savor authentic Indian cuisine.

I was not impressed with the food, was not flavorful and aromatic. Most of all the food lacked spice. There's a lot of items that I like that are not on the buffet, vindaloo, manchurian, korma etc."Swapna" near the braves stadium, now that is a fantastic place. There's no comparison.

Yeah, I will not return to this venue. The service was horrible. I came for their lunch buffet on Sunday. The place was not that busy when I first arrived but it started to get packed. The server took my drink order and never returned. I don't know if there was a miscommunication or what. Another server was taking care of all the tables around me but my server never returned and did not even come back to the room. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. I wish they used more seasoning, spice, and a little more heat.

I recently had my food delivered from Cafe Bombay and ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and Mango Cheesecake. The food was super delicious. Service was quick and I received my food fast. The food was super fresh and I loved my lunch that day. The mango cheesecake was something I tried for the first time and it was just mind blowing. It is so unexpected to get a cheesecake from an Indian restaurant but it was just epic. The prices are decent for this amazing meal with a dessert. I'd order again soon.

Got cafe Bombay for thanksgiving this year. It was awesome that they were open. I wasn't able to adjust the heat, so the paneer tikka Marsala was bland and kinda tasted like tomato soup. The garlic naan was pretty good. Service was good. If I could adjust the heat, I would try it again.

Based on one experience, nothing but 5 stars is appropriate! I had the chicken vindaloo and it was honestly the spiciest vindaloo I have ever had! It's always disappointing when Indian food is under seasoned/spiced but that is definitely not a problem here! The naan was delicious. We got the naan basket with garlic, onion, and plain naan. We got two entrees and SO MUCH RICE! They did not skimp on that! We also got samosas and Tikka masala. All delicious! It was just delivery so I can't speak to the restaurant itself or the service but I will definitely be back to try out more of their entrees.

Went to cafe Bombay with my classmates and teacher one day. Service was super nice and it bas a huge area for big parties. They also have a buffet in the mornings and I think in Fridays. We came in at around 5pm and it was not busy but by the time we left most of the front of the restaurant was filled up and there were some tables in the bigger dining area. My friend ordered a shot and it took them about 10 minutes to bring it out for her even though we were the only table there. I ordered a chicken that was supposed to be spicy but it was super dry and not spicy. I ended up giving it to my friend so she can take it home to her husband. My teacher ordered the chicken biryani and it was actually VERY good and had a nice kick but not too spicy. I would come back for the biryani.

I ordered takeout on Christmas Day, and decided to stop in for the lunch buffet awhile later. Let's get into it. Location and Parking Cafe Bombay is located in a small strip mall behind Target on N Druid Hills. The driveway is easy to miss, but if you drive past it you can pull into the Target parking lot and come back. Venue and Atmosphere The interior is no-frills, but it is clean and the aroma of delicious Indian food is in the air. Proceed to the host stand and they will seat you. Let them know if you want plated or buffet service, and live your best life. Food and Beverages Food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The food is authentic and spice levels vary. The buffet is pretty extensive, but I recall Tikka Masala, Tandoori chicken, palak (spinach) as well as vegetarian dishes, rice, naan, and a salad bar. They have a few desserts as well as egg rolls. Though it is all you can eat, I was full after only one plate. The price is $17, not including a beverage. Service Service is minimal given that it is a buffet, but I was greeted with a smile and my water was refilled quickly each time. Verdict I'll be back if I'm in the area at lunchtime!

Cafe Bombay is definitely NOT what it used to be. The butter chicken sauce was delicious but there was hardly any chicken...
