** Falafel $9.00 (pictured) ** I was initially kinda bummed by the size it... but it was flavorful & absolutely DELICIOUS!! Only thing I would change: more chips & peppers! They don't have much of a social media presence (if at all), but it was surprisingly crowded on a Thursday! Simple and yummy!

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a late breakfast sandwich and it was truly such a gem of a place. I don't know what exactly it was but the energy in there was so welcoming and comfortable. Not to mention the food was obviously so good, and very affordable. I wish I lived in Poulsbo so I could come here more often. Will definitely be back if I ever visit this area again :)

My friends and I have been coming here for coffee every Sunday since they opened. The coffee and pastries are absolutely wonderful (best in North Kitsap, and I've tried them all) and the family that owns and operates the cafe could not be any more lovely. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. The portions are just the right size, and the prices are eminently reasonable. Cafe Au Lait adds a much-needed dimension to the somewhat limited dining options in North Kitsap. Great coffee. Remarkable pastries. Delicious food. Fair prices. Extremely pleasant and accomdating staff. Seriously, what more could you hope for?HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great hidden spot. Very well priced delicious food. Lots going on with the lunch menu and the breakfast menu was also solid. The feta sandwich was great as well as the turkey Panini.

New Café owned by a delightful Lebanese couple. The menu includes a great mix of American and middle Eastern standards. Among the offerings: turkey sandwiches, gyros, salads and home made soup.We shared a gyro, a cup of Lebanese lentil soup, and vegetarian pita pizza. Each dish was very good. We also grabbed ham and cheese croissants for the road. They stood up very well for a wonderful snack the following morning. The place was immaculately clean and the service friendly. We didn't try any of their coffees or teas. But, I did talk to the owner about the lack of a Lebanese or middle Eastern coffee offering. She was worried that it might be too strong for most. So, she didn't expect a demand. I pointed out the fact that no one in the area served it. So, it would be a good way to differentiate themselves. I promised I wouldn't be the only one willing to drive out of my way to sip a demitasse of sweet coffee down to the silty dregs of powdery grains of coffee.

This is an underrated cafe, and well worth a lunch visit. The falafel sandwich was among the best I've ever had: not too dry, not too spicy, lots of good flavor.Definitely coming back again.

Food and coffee were fantastic, so was the service. Only downside was that they no longer offer WiFi, which is a shame because they have outlets and usb plugs at each table. I was hoping to find a spot to work that was close to the Fred Hutch building this summer but I'll have to go somewhere else.

The restaurant has really good falafel, lattes and lentil soup. I recently tried their anise bread and it was really delightful. It was full of flavor and not overly sweet. The owners are really nice people and restaurant has a nice cozy feel. I highly recommend this restaurant.
